Yeah, for hyperborea, you guys have seen the whole video i think and can answer me a question: what does byron say befor the song:As the vortex illuminates the crystaline walls of kor avul tha?
I just found it off a fansite, so not much I can do. there were other videos on it, but for some reason would only play music & no vid :-( but at least there is this & I kinda like it in low quality anyway, makes it seem darker, but would be nice to veiw in better...
Lol, yeah...I guess the poor quality is more appealing to all of those "true" black-metallers out there. And by "true" black metal, I mean unforgivably poorly produced black metal. :-P I gotta admit, I love all of the epic, black, death and other kinds of metal with great production and sound quality. And on Bal-Sagoth really deliver on their albums.
Or so I hear, to be honest I only have about 4 mp3's by them. I intend to get an album once I can afford it and once I've bought all the other bazillion albums that I need to buy, but can't afford. :-p
Negative, the production quality for bands such as Immortal, Enslaved, and Illdjarn purposefully made the albums like that as to convey a sense of aural visualization...like cracking or poppings sounds for a battlefield or an echoe-ish is meant to convey being out in the woods or solemnly moving in a glade. I'm serious too just ask Isahn of Illjarn now Emperor.
Is that Chris doing the growls??? O_o O_o

@Aidan6496 Yes, Byron got him to do some backing vox on that tour, but of course on the album it is only Byron doing all the growls and screams.

Spot on. It's a shame how few people realise this.
