Same here. Ren & Stimpy was when I started to go off cartoons. Some of it was due to the fact I had hit 13/14 but some was due to the cartoons of the 90's just failing compared to the action packed cartoons of the 80's. I never got the fascination with this cartoon? To me, it was just mindless/disgusting crap? lol

Ren & Stimpy was way too good for a crap kid's network like Nickelodeon. [Adult Swim] would have been a better fit, had it been around back then. I'm surprised The Simpson's has been around this long on a network like Fox. But then The Simpson's have always been a marketing phenomenon too. That goes a long way towards sticking around on the airwaves .
