There is no evidence which proves where the pipes started from and where they ended up. If you look at the Mallorcan pipes and Galicean pipes (one single drone) and the bagad from Brittany in France, you can see pipes orignate from all over Europe. The Syrians, Iranians, Tunisians - all have a bag/chanter/drone version of the pipes - LONG BEFORE THE CELTS. The pipes featured in this video are Highland Pipes and the tune is Scottish.
