I see, by the comments from others, there are many JM fans like myself. I was a teenager when he began his career and just loved the sound of his voice. I bought many of his albums and still have them. Some of my friends, even now, remember how much I loved his music then, and I love it just as much today. My sister-in-law's brother knows J.M. very well and my chance of meeting him thru this connection seems nil, but I never say never.

I sang at Carnegie Hall once, + my entire family said it wouldn't happen, + didn't come. So who knows, maybe I'll sing with him yet.

WOW, what a beautiful video. One of my favorite songs from one of my all time favorite Mathis albums. Combining the photos of John & Jill to this romantic tune is indeed, the perfect "fantasy" date.
