The Mac pro costs 2700$: Xeon 3520, 3GB ram, 640 HDD, HD4870.

If I went to new egg, I could get equal hardware for 1300$ or less.

For 2700$ I could buy: Dual 3520s w/mobo, 12GB of faster ECC RAM, 4x1TB in Raid 0+1, and a GTX260, with a 800w PS, case, Blu-ray drive,Win 7, and a 22" monitor.

The windows 7 with 2 Xeons looks like a much better option to me, and should to you aswell.

if you have one of the earlier macbookpro's like I do, its a 32 bit acrhitecture....tiger and leopard run just as well. Snow leopard is a 64bit kernal unlike previous OS's only supporting 64 bit frameworks or libraries.

all the latest mac's are Core 2 Duo chips which are X64 aware but this doesnt mean the older ones wont be smooth and slick. I enjoyed your video though...lol.

Mac OS X had show desktop since Expose was first introduce in Jaguar. They do have something like Aero on mac and had it for a while, Aqua. The mac has had the features of Aero like transparency and gloss since it was first introduced, they just don't flash it like its some kind of fisher price toy.

Haha... this feature, dock exposé, is a refinement of the basic exposé feature of Mac OS X. It's had it for years. Apple did make it first. That's what they mean by windows copied mac.
