just finished watching this movie and it made me cry :) but i didn't like the way it ended Jessie must have been heartbroken to live an eternity without her ...but other than that this movie was amazing
@ariesgal1991 oh ok I see oh then it might be something from William Ross off Tuck Everlasting Soundtrack but the beat sounds like something from Enya so im not sure you'd might have to do some more research
This version really does suck. The original movie made in 1981 is alot more real. I guess they picked this cast because they looked pretty LOL. This is so much like Twilight it's not funny. Guess we know where Stephanie Meyer got her ideas from. If you read the book you will realize why you should watch the original and not the remake. I will be uploading the 1981 version this Friday and also another movie made by the same director called Eyes of Amaryllis.
I agree with the fact that the trailer doesn't explain what's really going on but it doesn't change the fact that it's one of the most beautiful trailers ever made. And book. And movie :)
This is the worst trailer ever. My son sais that it is a great movie about a stream that allows a family to have ecerlating life and youth, but by this trailer I would not have known that. In fact I had no clue what the storie was.
When I read Tuck Everlasting in the sixth grade, I thought it was the best book in the world. Tonight I gave it to my son, a fourth-grader, to read. He was skeptical but I insisted. He finished it in one evening. As I told him good night, his last words to me before falling asleep were, "Thank you."
@skippersolo the story is not about them loving each other when she is ten and jesse is 17 jesse wants her to waith until she is 17 to drink the water
A lot of people didn't but I LOVED the way this ended. Anybody could've made it so that she would drink from the water and live forever, but the writer was so brilliant that he/she showed how Winnie learned from Jesse. He taught her that life shouldn't go on forever. If she would've died, then he would have taught her that in vein. I don't care what anyone says. This movie/book ended BRILLIANTLY.
I used to love this story as a kid. I watched the movie before I read the book but I enjoyed them both, very much. They're pretty mcuh the same, but I like the movie more but only because Jonathan Jackson is so fudruckin' sexy!
A friend of mine is writing a really cool fan fiction of this where winnie drinks the water. Go check it out! Go to Wattpad. com and seach Tuck Everlasting the Continued story. :)
Why aren't such movies being made anymore?I LOVED this movie(: wish they ended up together tho...</3 but,at least Jesse always had Winnie's heart & even tho she moved on,she never forgot Jesse & I'm sure Jessie never forgot her(:
I can't wait to see this movie. I have already read the book in one of my class literature groups, and must say it is a very entertaining novel. I had bunches of emotion, and cant wait to see it in picture :)
I love this movie and the book. In fact, I'm reading it right now! It has a really great message that speaks to kids, at least it spoke to me. It shows the somewhat darker side of what immortality entails, instead of just having fun forever.
Oh my god! in my reading class we read the book, and we watched the movie... and i seriously cried right there in my reading class. I love Jesse sooo much! I wouldve drank the water.. as long as u have ur loved ones there, then eternal life wouldnt be bad (: But seriously I love this movie... and dont forget.. Jesse ♥
This is definitely one of my favorite movies :) I could watch it over and over again and I wouldn't get tired of it lol. I haven't read the book though, but I'd love to. I can't believe Winnie is 10 in the book! :O didn't see that coming
Now this is a TRUE romance story. Not that Twilight crap. Real lessons, believable characters, and no sparkling vampires or over emotional werewolves.
We watched this in school this week, the trailer kinda scares me. The man in the yellow suit is succchh a creep and needs to leaves Winnie alone......
I'm reading it in class. I can't wait to watch the movie next week. But I don't get why you would fall inlove with one of your captors and in the book Winnie is 10. She doesn't look 10 in this movie
@MsGoldsworthy in the movie she's older, to make the story more "realistic" - a 10-year-old would obviously react completly differently in the situation.
I read the book when I was in middle school and it was excellent :D I eventually watched the movie and I fell in love with it. I need to read the book again because I don't remember anything :P
I like this movie a lot. But it didn't live up to it's potential, a sex scene (a mild one, or some notion that Winnie and Jesse did it would have amplified the movie and their relationship) 1,000th comment!
The love in it was false. All it really was was belly going "i liek" and it pretty much went on from there. THIS movie however, really brought out the romance in Winnie and Jesse (the movie, not the book...the book was more puppy-loveish, seeing the age difference on that one)
In this movie you can feel the static between Jesse and Winnie. In Twilight it was just...meh. I didn't feel any heart-warming love.
this is such a GREAT book! im reading it fro a novel study in english and half the kida in my class thought it was so good they decided to read the whole book to see what happens next! i LOVE it! :)

@chicojim23 Banter's actually really hard to define.
Right. Basically, banter is when someone goes:
"Oh hey, how's it going?"
And you reply: "Better before you got here".
If you're joking, then that's banter - it's saying something mean that's funny. If you say the above seriously then it's just mean.
