cuz the last time i checked tekken and virtua fighter were the only ones worth playing, the average tekken character has a movelist of 120 moves and theres 30+ characters...

streetfighter never gave more than 40 moves for a character

mortal combat well... that actually was a decent game for its time... and sure so was streetfighter, ok i give....

but uh,.... TK and VF still own.

..Except that Tekken is for kids compared to vf. Tekken is so damn easy that everyone can win regardless of skill, vf takes lots of skill and hard work to master. In other words, Tekken is fun, yes, but it's just entertainment while vf is a serious game.

well you see 3d fighters, such as the ones you listed, are different than the 2d fighters street fighter and king of fighters, so you shouldn't judge them the same.

Sorry, but the whole "Jeet-Kune-Do-Bruce-Lee-lookal­ike" thing is played out. It's been done way too many times. Jacky is the most original practioner of Jeet Kune Do solely cause he's not a Bruce Lee wannabe.

You made a good point since a lot of fighting games would have a Jeet Kune Do fighter, who would either look like or sound Bruce Lee. As much as I have a huge respect and admiration to Bruce Lee, I find the whole Asian fighter who uses JKD overused. That's why I give credit to Sega in creating Jacky.

I love Tekken and VF, but I like Tekken's stylish design better.

I like the feel of the frame data, the powerful looking hits and animations,etc.

Example:T5DR Lei's ff+3+4 VS Shun's ub+k.

A minor gripe with VF is Akira's just frame knee. It's almost impossible to do with a pad, I can do his dragon lance and palm combos ok though. Instead of making the move so hard to pull off, I rather they adjust it's properties, so it's not broken.

With Tekken, I don't like how juggles are so strong.

Exactly......... God, VF5 is still fantastically difficult. I play with Akira myself and a few of his moves are very hard to pull off, especially his knee strike that requires you to let go of a button after one frame. Man, that's hard to judge. VF is definitely still the hardest and deepest fighter on the market.
