  • Trouble was my middle name indeed. I still tell my Mom who is 90 year old how sorry I am for turning her hair prematurely gray back in the mid 1960's. I use to play all kind of practical jokes on the teachers in my N.E. Indiana school. I gave our priest, Fr. Michael fits whenever I'd put a frog in the choir loft for Sunday Mass and start to giggle under my breath as one of the teenage girl choir members schreaked. I was trouble, but it was so much fun!!

  • This song just popped into my head one night and I looked it up. I was 14 years old and I remember singing it, and I still remember the words, b/c it was such a sweet touching song. Love those days, glad I was there.

  • brook brothers cover is my favorite. i always prefer their covers to the originals.

  • i'm fourteen and i happen to be a huge fan of mr. vinton myself. personally, listening to "today's" music, i think if people listened to mr. vinton they wouldn't be doing unspeakable things or drugs. they would understand that music isn't just...that. maybe people would even appreciate themselves more! i know vinton sure makes me feel like i am a pretty special person...

I'll never turn away from true ROCK 'N ROLL. I am a Christian and I love music that worships my Lord and Saviour but I think He doesn't mind if I play my oldies!!!

  • you are one intelligent 12 year old and i don't even know you. nice to know you are not one of the generation that has fallen into the trappings of what they call music today. it's a big joke right grooms?

  • yes a big joke, men and women who sing this music actually use their talented voices, and music sung now a day is sung with a machine!!!!! very very sad...

  • Seems we have us a very positive concensus here, thank GOD!! I lived and loved these days!!
