I only got to spend an hour at CCF. We were traveling from Etosha National Park to Windhoek. My daughter, who is in the video, wants to intern with CCF when she is in college so I hope to go back there with her.
Sweet. I've got to buy them a few computers and drop them off next year. Dr. Laurie's a champ. I think the only bummer about being out there are the flies and acacia thorns. Would be magic to intern there before someone's all grown up.
Because this is at the Cheetah Foundation that raises the cheetahs to preserve the species. Cheetahs need to be taught to hunt and many cheetahs are brought to the foundation to take care of them or else farmers will shoot them. Please don't misunderstand why they are in captivity.
I went to CCF a couple years ago. You can see CCF's cheetahs running in my video for the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Awesome. Much better than my video. I just had a few hours there before I had to head back to Windhoek. There will be a second time.
