I'm probably one of the few viewers who know Tom Jones since the 60s (Delilah, Green Green Grass of Home, What's New Pussycat). For me, he was just a pop singer, not to compare with my idols of that era. But in this song, I recognized a great artist and I take back my judgement, shamefully. Primarily, I appreciate that he stands by his age now - no more black dyed hair. I agree fully with Arch666Angel's comment: Tom is like red wine, the older the better.

I have been a fan for years, saw Tom perform in the New Theatre Cardiff ( before the nose job) I have always enjoyed his recordings. Full disclosure, I'm not a Tom Jones fan. I am a fan of Lost Highway records and I have this a whirl because it was one of their releases. Wow! What a great song, one pretty much every level. Tom Jones sings at a tone and pace that are pretty much perfect. The instrumentation and arrangement are light and ideal for a song like this. Color me impressed.
