- Back in the arcade days GORF was not one of my favorites, used to take it as a scam blatantly copying all those classic games and branding them together as something 'new'. At any rate, it is indeed fun to play nowadays, brings memories from years gone by. Kudos Marlin!
Holy poop, the VIC 20 was my first computer, I miss BLITZ and SKI I wish they'd do jazzy re-makes, although saying that I do have some PD versions of both on my AMIGA.
It is also the game Shatner specifically mentions in his famous Vic 20 commercial. Great game, possibly the most famous one on the system. I've loved Gorf in every version I've ever played of it. The Vic 20 Version, the C64 version, the 2600 Version, the Colecovision Version, and the original arcade game. A real Gem, although like you said...derivitive.
If you have the Commodore Voice cartridge installed, it would speak too....

Great video Marlinlee. The 3rd screen always kinda reminded me of Gyruss. Gorf is a great arcade classic. Love it.
