  • If you have the Commodore Voice cartridge installed, it would speak too....

  • Played it today on my VIC 20. Still epic :)

  • I can't tell you how many precious hours of my childhood were lost to this game.

  • love the intro there Marlin, ooh, one of my favourite games on one of my favourite computers, it's irresistible :o)

  • Used to love Gorf in the arcades! and this version actually looks pretty good.

  • - Back in the arcade days GORF was not one of my favorites, used to take it as a scam blatantly copying all those classic games and branding them together as something 'new'. At any rate, it is indeed fun to play nowadays, brings memories from years gone by. Kudos Marlin!

  • Love your 'ORIGIN of GORF' Theory. It must be true!

I'm going to check it out straight after watching this video - using the same cart :P

    LOL

  • Fun video marlin, I have his for the Vic-20 and it was one of the first games I played for that system when I got mine a couple of months ago.

  • Great video Marlinlee. The 3rd screen always kinda reminded me of Gyruss. Gorf is a great arcade classic. Love it.

  • Easily my favourite Vic20 game. It's so wonderfully noisy :D

  • Holy poop, the VIC 20 was my first computer, I miss BLITZ and SKI I wish they'd do jazzy re-makes, although saying that I do have some PD versions of both on my AMIGA.

Cheers for showing this footage mate.

  • hey marlin..vic called he says he's 20...lol i love this game ..i really enjoyed it on the arcade ..lol cool :D

  • Nice, I had this game but no Vic-20 so I sent it to Gamester81. lol

  • Right on I love FROG!

This looks to be a pretty good port. Awesome video.

  • Fun looking game Marlinlee :) It has some very interesting & different missions.

    Great review!

  • this looks like a great game! Excellent review! :) keep up this VIC-20 series I'm really enjoying it! :)

  • Cool looking game.

  • It is also the game Shatner specifically mentions in his famous Vic 20 commercial. Great game, possibly the most famous one on the system. I've loved Gorf in every version I've ever played of it. The Vic 20 Version, the C64 version, the 2600 Version, the Colecovision Version, and the original arcade game. A real Gem, although like you said...derivitive.
