The American armed citizens are the largest armed (future) fighting force on the planet and no army or police force could ever be sucessfull against them. I am always asking military personell if they would obey orders to fire on American citizens for the cause of gun confiscation and I have never found a single soldier that said that he would obey that order. A lot of the guys I graduated high school with are in the army, so I do have somewhat of a trust for soldiers, and I can't see any of the ones I know personally following through even if they received orders from the President, himself. The plan only works if there are soldiers willing to carry it out, and I don't think a good soldier would.

There is an average of 300,000-400,000 hunters with shotguns, handguns and rifles in nearly every state in America. This doesn't include the people with arms who do nbot hunt such as myself. I keep mine basically because they were gifts from my father who passed away. Suffice to say close to 80 million Americans own firearms. Far and away the biggest equivalent army arms wise the world will ever see.

The American armed citizens are the largest armed (future) fighting force on the planet and no army or police force could ever be sucessfull against them. I am always asking military personell if they would obey orders to fire on American citizens for the cause of gun confiscation and I have never found a single soldier that said that he would obey that order. And almost all of the cops that I've questioned has said that they would refuse also. Not to worry Tatoo.

I am an Infantry veteran, deployed to OEF, and can tell you no soldier would raise arms against a militia movement, in fact I can almost guarantee that the commanders would order the troops to JOIN the militia. This government is out of control! Also, these movements are largely made up of veterans, well trained, controlled, and extremely well armed. If shit hit the fan to the point where militias took action against the government, the military would be right there with them, regardless of higher command(assuming higher would act against militias, which I doubt). Also, I have read the constitution and bill of rights, and have copies of both on my coffee table...

A lot of the guys I graduated high school with are in the army, so I do have somewhat of a trust for soldiers, and I can't see any of the ones I know personally following through even if they received orders from the President, himself. The plan only works if there are soldiers willing to carry it out, and I don't think a good soldier would.

He is a former SEAL and Army SF who did a survey of 300 Marines. He questioned them about their loyalties and choices they would make on different scenarios that brought about conflicts with the Constitution.
The answers they gave were frightening.
I am a Combat Medic, OIF Vet, and I am not convinced about your claim that no Soldier would just blindly follow unlawful orders.

There is an average of 300,000-400,000 hunters with shotguns, handguns and rifles in nearly every state in America. This doesn't include the people with arms who do nbot hunt such as myself. I keep mine basically because they were gifts from my father who passed away. Suffice to say close to 80 million Americans own firearms. Far and away the biggest equivalent army arms wise the world will ever see.
If a fraction of these people demanded change it would happen overnight. We'll see ??

I retired from the guard about a year ago at the rank of sargent . while sevrving I was deployed all over and sat in lots of briefings about domestic terrorists. the profile was anyone who said boo about the goverment. I don"t know when the military will take over but I KNOW they will !

You know it's funny but back in the cold war, we trained militia groups- actually made it into soldier of fortune magazine. The problem of course is that these little groups have just become bullies, trying to force their crap on everyone else . If they supported the nation and it's people as they claim, we would once again support them. And of course every last one of them is SFQ, though try to get them to march in a straight line.

Our bill-of-rights and the constitution that "We the People" recognize says that the American Military CAN NOT ever be used against the people. The cobal in Washinton can make all the changes they want to these laws but since they were not autorized by the citizens they do apply. Is Texas the only state that openly speaks of its own guard force? I'm speaking of the militia in Texas. Does anyone know? I recently saw some older video of the Texas gov speaking about breaking away from the union and in that tv speech he spoke about Texas having its own armed guard but he did not say militia. Any insight on this is much appreciated.

EVERYONE READ THE CONSTITUTION and retain it! Too many people I speak with, don't know much about the Constitution besides the basics; such as, our founding fathers made it and that we have rights, well you need to know those rights in order to know that we can form a militia together and take those out of office if our rights start becoming infringed on!

@malaymercernary Do we deserve freedom is a good question since the people have never asserted their authority by stopping all the illegal usurpations and violations, but we have to start somewhere. An amendment must not violate the Constitution itself and any amendment that does violate it is null and void. We the people now have a decree and order-to-vacate to ALL violators in our Government which is in tyranny and absolute despotism. Type in THE PEOPLE'S DECLARATION TO REVOKE AND ABOLISH .
