  • Such a cool-loking starship! x)

  • This music is much better.

  • Great job! Have you ever thought about starting a sim?

  • I love these ship designs, but, Damn it, it's not going to happen! The shuttles are all decomissioned, WITH OUT A FOLLOW ON!!! We now have to rely on Russia to support the ISS. (And the Russian mission to Phobos was an utter failure). Yes, we have a lot to thank to Obama. The only other president that was that inept was Jimmy Carter. Sorry, but I had to sound off. =Stefan=

  • @chengloki Lets hope for a unified government sooner rather than later!

  • Am i the only one who stood up and salutted as it left? lol

  • @crownedman104 No not at all I was going to throw a bottle of wine at my screan but I am a piss head so thought it best I drink it Waste not Want not as they say lol!

  • It looks like a late 23rd century version of an NX Class.

  • I like this ship. Looks like a TMP era NX class.

  • writing as a star trek fan and an artist.. it seems oddly blocky in the design of the lower section. And what is that extra block on the very bottom of the hull? After the 2 deflectors on either side there are BIG boxy spots just ahead of the nacelle connectors.. a lot of extra wasted space. And speaking of space.. compare the gangway hatch on the side of the saucer with the docking hatch on top, then below that the BIG windows and giant furniture inside. It all seems out of scale.

  • Where's the deflector dish? Fair enough the N-X enterprises was in the front and very slim but it still had one i hate ships without them!

  • @2490debrick

You can see them both at 1:17.

  • @VideoSpaceFX Oh those little white boxes?

  • @2490debrick

Yes, I think combined they are about the same size as the Enterprise refit deflector.

  • @VideoSpaceFX Why 2?

  • @2490debrick

Don't know, guess it fits in with the catamaran secondary hull design.

  • @VideoSpaceFX My fave ship from the early days is the excelsior mark 1 but I do love the rigel and korolevs that have been designed by star trek nutters they are stunning!

  • @VideoSpaceFX The good thing about this design is the compactness of it if you look at the Constitution Class I feel the Nacelles are too far out thus becoming exposed!

  • Hey, I remember this design, isn't it from the old Fasa role playing game? Pretty cool to see it in action and very nice take on it.

  • @elskeeper

Yes it is, the model is by Lt. Kevin Riley.

  • Miranda, Soyuz and Excelsior class are my favs then I saw this one! Nice design.."Peace and long life" I love the older starships from Kirk's era when they were new, to picard's time, when many were 85 years and still going

  • i hate to be the one to say this but this is what i am feeling atm,

with some persons that have a really good talent to make these new breed of starships it is not a wonder to me if we can't start a new story or new blood line of star trek, there is enough of the idea i feel and there is enough of fans to take the story in all kinds of directions,

why can we not start to spin the wheel again?

  • Ahh I gotcha, its an adaption of the ralph McQuarrie designs into TMP era design. Thats clever!

  • what program do you use

  • Excellent design. A great bridge between the NX and the Akira, I love it!

  • @fergonzo27 The design predates the NX and the Akira by many many years. It comes from FASA's Star Trek Games from the 1980's.

  • is this an early NCC ship? like how it still looks a little like the NX class. nice

  • I always liked the Loknar Class, but you've really shown it off in all it's glory :)

  • Nice to see an old FASA design!

  • Again great job...

  • The Phobos looks like what a TOS era version of the NX-01 would look like

  • @sonicantz yeah it does, though a little meaner.

  • exelent dising, good work i like the star trek ships

  • Excellent effects. Well done. Did you use a space simulation program with models loaded and choreographed, or was this done frame by frame in an animation program?

  • Thanks. The 3D elements were animated and the planet and moon put in as backgrounds.
