I KNOW! I saw some videos titled Live Action Evangelion Movie and looked at it. But so far the ones I've watched seemed fake since some of the scenes looked completely computer animated and showed close up scenes from Harry Potter and Matrix.

No, WETA always said that they don't start work full time on EVA until they finish Battle Angel, and that movie will be in movies 2009. But they have concept arts and pre-animations.

oh, i didnt even know they were still working on battle angel. so many anime based movies were announced that ended up dieing that i figured the same would happen with these. I was surprised that the DBZ movie is actually filming, and now a speed racer movie too. Hopefully the BA and EVA movies turn out well if they are released.

BA Was originally planted to 2008, but Cameron want to finish filming Avatar first, so he moved the premier to 2009. But sadly, Avatar moved to, so he's now working on two movies simultaneously. I hope Anime movies get two thumbs up...
