very cool, this is the first solo track i heard of his. i love that he samples PRIMUS on this track, of all the obscure and strange bands - one of the best instrumentals primus ever did, for sure, from the legendary breakthrough album Pork Soda - know the tune? come on, remember? "Wounded Knee"??
and he did it in such a way that the original song is just recognizable - absolutely, it's the exact sample, no changes except the rhythm and tempo - and then just looped over. i'm a die-hard primus fan, and i love that cee-lo, so outside of primus' progressive freak-rock genre, was able to put one of my favorite songs to good use in this tight-ass song

and he did it in such a way that the original song is just recognizable - absolutely, it's the exact sample, no changes except the rhythm and tempo - and then just looped over. i'm a die-hard primus fan, and i love that cee-lo, so outside of primus' progressive freak-rock genre, was able to put one of my favorite songs to good use in this tight-ass song
