Overall, a great medley. The chanter sounded a bit early, but they still got a brilliant start on their introduction. I also found that when they went into the circle and split up from the ranks, the transformation was jumpy, not smooth. Intonation was first class. Drum core were consistent. Nice control.Short notes short and the long notes long. Always a bonus. If you can keep control, the judges will love you. Believe me, I know a guy that is a judge at the worlds. Heard of Trevor Deere?

Great medley, and on a good day that would be unstoppable.

Look at the history of this band under P/M Mathieson.....THE SMP's should get thier fingers out and get this man nominated for an MBE for services to pipe bands. Richard Parkes got his fully deserved MBE in 2004. These two men have helped professionalise the pipe band world and have lifted the art of pipe band playing to a new level.

ha ha the crowd go OOOHHHHHHH when that stinkin early E cums in...thats a comedy moment. Drums were sounding good that day, but they defo miss wullie kerr, and so do i, with hsi crazy dancing technique.
