I want to perform the silver fairy variation and i liked the tempo of the music you used. could you tell me what orchestra it is?

This is going to be my part in Sleeping Beauty in summer :) I either want to be the second fairy (Silver) or the fourth fairy (Diamond) I like both alot! but I think I might like the silver fairy alittle bit more :) The music is so cute :D

I'm confused.....why are there four?? I thought it was three; silver, diamond and gold.

@thefourandonly1 There's four. I'm not sure why the fourth one isn't included in the first part, which is supposed to be the pas de quatre. But here's howw it goes in the ballet: pas de quatre, gold, silver, sapphire, diamond, and then the coda:)

Do you go to Ballet Arte? Cause Sara and Erlends start rehearsal on the saturday for the jewels... If not the silver is the second variation.

I did not really like this one because they were almost never on the music or together. Sometimes they also did different arms and legs wihich really annoyed me. But individually they are beautiful.

There is an art to teaching musicality and lyricism.  If a school doesn't use a live pianist I would think it difficult to bring those skills about. It takes a pretty special teacher.

2nd fairy has trouble getting on her box the whole solo

the girls did a great job. but they need to tack their tutus, then they won't flap around like they did.

They're all trying to do better than each other, obviously because it's a competition... but to really do well in a variation like that, you all have to work together and be in sync

I thought they did their best and it was enjoyable enough to watch. Id have love to have been there. The audience loved it even if some moaners in this thread didnt.

umm.. I think they dance pretty well, but they don't do the movements together at the same time.. sometimes one of them does it faster than the other.. and that makes it look.. well, not good.. no offense

on the 1st turn the blue fairy didn't spot because she stopped turning and looked dizzy!Good job and i think the silver fairy worked very hard!The last solo variation looked really good!

these girls hav crappy pointework and okay technique, but they hav amazing potential, they need to leave their school and go 2 new york or russia or somewhere and get quality training, in north carolina, chicago, san francisco, etc.

The girl who danced the silver fairy (aka the middle one) had three hours of rehearsal to learn the entire ballet from nothing. The original silver fairy had no understudy and sprained her ankle at the dress rehearsal.
