The fallacy is God completely only one attribute. Because God is not only all power but all wisdom as well.God by wisdom would not ask Himself a stupid question. Never would contradict one attribute aganist another. Only men create paradoxes not God.
Gotta disagree (respectfully) with this video. While it might be fun to think about, to say God can create a squared circle goes against the law of idendity, and non-contradiction. (A is A, not non-A). A circle is a circle by it's properties, and a square is a square by it's properties as well. These and mathematics are necessary truths. Ravens being black are contingent truths. It is possible God could have made pink ravens, but not squared circles, or 2+2=5. This would be making a lie true.
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (I always thought of that as a "circle". You made me think.) 15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
@graceexplosion 17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. (Maybe the "dimensional level of Alpha and Omega is more a cube like the shape of New Jerusalem when everything is returned. This might not "make sense" to you -- but you really got me thinking dimensionally.)
@graceexplosion Oh... PS... It's EVERYWHERE in scripture now that I see Substantive Predestination. See the New Jerusalem city?? It's the measure of a man -- that is of the angel. (We the saints are the elect angels. The reprobate are the devil and his angels.) Did you see how God shows us "peeks" of how men are really angels?? The measure of a man in the holy city is the measure of an angels. (We're the angels as the saints. :)
@Blogrich55 LOL - you brought up circle and square. It's something "I picture" in my heart that the return of things through Jesus in restoration is like a "circle" -- of Him, through Him and to Him are all things. I see all things coming out of Jesus in His creation, Alpha, and returning to Him in the end, Omega. I literally "picture this as a circle. But, you made me think when you said "cube". Becuz New Jerusalem is cube-shaped. I have to see if I'm seeing the wrong shape. :)
A square circle is not a "thing," it is a logical incoherency.
Jesus knew exactly what he was saying, and he clearly meant that all that is logically possible, God can do. Anyone who does not understand this fact is of lesser intelligence.
"Anyone who does not understand this fact is of lesser intelligence."
I am asked this sort of question all of the time by JWs and Mormons and Apostolics. In fact, just today an Apostolic asked that, in view of Matt 19:26, was it not possible for Jesus (in His office as Son) could be speaking of ANOTHER comforter and be referring to HIMSELF in His future role of the Holy Spirit. In other words, another doesn't mean another because God can do the impossible. Contradictory Premises.
How is it illogical? Anything LESS than the origination of matter or spirit would NOT be creation. It would be the reorganization of pre-existing matter or spirit. Many do not believe in creation ex nihilo. That is their privilege. However it is another matter all together to demonstrate that such a concept is illogical. God by definition is omnipotent and Creator.

God is actually greater for not being able to do some things that humans can. A god who cannot lie or forsake you is a wonderful god!

@GhostOfMisterRogers True God cannot lie and will not fail to save His elect. God bless.

What makes one think that the things on earth or universe also apply to Him?

In what way? This video is saying the question involves the fallacy of Contradictory Premises. How hot does it have to be to BBQ a rainbow?

Interesting. Romans 11:36

@1GodOnlyOne God created something out of nothing...how is that logical?
malikzzzzz 4 weeks ago
@malikzzzzz You have failed to provide evidence for your personal belief that God could have ever "created" something out of nothing, so you lose.
Your post is not logical in any way -- thanks for asking!
