I remember that day, we were taking a patient down to HUP on the Schuylkill and I remember my partner saying, "What the hell is going on?!" Looked out the front and saw cruiser after cruiser going westbound to get on 1 North, even saw the PD Water Rescue truck going. Heard about it on the radio not long after. RIP Officer Cassidy, and every other Philly PD member who was killed in the line of duty these last two years.
