America, Spider Man, Ironman, Incredible Hulk are all decent movies, but non reach the greatness of Watchmen and the Batman series. Marvel movies are fun to watch, like Transformers, but that's it. Some DC movies may be trash, but Batman + Watchmen compensates for those.

They hire the Joker, who unleashes chaos on the protagonist, causing one to become an antagonist. This movie is the tragedy of Harvey Dent....Each character has the same amount of screen time relatively. This movie does a great job of bringing a world to life instead of being like any other hero movie.

Other than Nolan's Batman films, I really don't care for most of the DC movies. I regret seeing Green Lantern, and Superman Returns failed to impress me. Spiderman 1-2, Iron Man 1, and X-Men 1-2 are some of my favorite movies. Besides Batman, I prefer Marvel in every way.

Best comic movie EVER. Comparing with DC and Marvel comics, The Dark Knight is the best over both comics' movies. Really, Christopher Nolan knows how to make these movies seem like how it was described in the comics. Wait till The Dark Knight Rises is out. It'll earn bucks!!
I'm beginning to think this movie is a tad overrated. In my (humble) opinion, it's too relentlessly dark to be entertaining; the dialogue is almost pompously obscure at times; and there are number of scenes I consider just plain draggy: men in suits, sitting around in steely-looking rooms, scowling and muttering jargon....The obvious pros? Heath Ledger (he's brilliant) and some great action scenes.
I'd be curious to know if I'm not alone in thinking this, so...thumbs up if you agree. ;)

I'm no comic book collector or fan, but I know for a fact that DC makes the best hero adaption movies in the history of film. DC movies make their hero's dark. It seems that Marvel is trying to take that step with their new Spider-Man movie. It's a shame that it will fail for that very reason, too. Batman by Christopher Nolan is dark because he is in the comics. You can't make Spider-Man dark when he isn't anything close to that.

Other than Nolan's Batman films, I really don't care for most of the DC movies. I regret seeing Green Lantern, and Superman Returns failed to impress me. Spiderman 1-2, Iron Man 1, and X-Men 1-2 are some of my favorite movies. Besides Batman, I prefer Marvel in every way.

are you guys crazy? Watchmen is one of the best superhero movies made. Besides changing the ending slightly, it follows the rest of the story almost 100%. Not to mention i think Watchmen has the best movie intro of all time. V for Vendetta is another great movie. DC>Marvel. All of the X-men movies are shit in my opinion. All of them have bad acting and also bad cinematography.

Best comic movie EVER. Comparing with DC and Marvel comics, The Dark Knight is the best over both comics' movies. Really, Christopher Nolan knows how to make these movies seem like how it was described in the comics. Wait till The Dark Knight Rises is out. It'll earn bucks!!

I'm beginning to think this movie is a tad overrated. In my (humble) opinion, it's too relentlessly dark to be entertaining; the dialogue is almost pompously obscure at times; and there are number of scenes I consider just plain draggy: men in suits, sitting around in steely-looking rooms, scowling and muttering jargon....The obvious pros? Heath Ledger (he's brilliant) and some great action scenes.
I'd be curious to know if I'm not alone in thinking this, so...thumbs up if you agree. ;)

@peasoupbug1 When such thoughts came to my mind I just sat and watched it again. Two hours passed like fourty minutes, not a moment of bore. It was not as as entertaining as on the big screen, but it didn't feel like it was much more on the outside and less on the inside.
But some praise it like the best movie ever made, which is typical fan-hype.

I'm no comic book collector or fan, but I know for a fact that DC makes the best hero adaption movies in the history of film. DC movies make their hero's dark. It seems that Marvel is trying to take that step with their new Spider-Man movie. It's a shame that it will fail for that very reason, too. Batman by Christopher Nolan is dark because he is in the comics. You can't make Spider-Man dark when he isn't anything close to that.

@evilangelsora I think you can,it's a movie, based in a comic book, but not the comic book, so you could perfectly do it. If you're writing the comic and you start the next chapter(I don't know how it's called in Spanish either so..),and you present it dark then it's weird, you won't have a nice comic book, you won't have a movie.It's confusing. But we see adapted movies from novels a lot, that are way different just for any reason. So it's doable and better if it's for a better story/movie.

@evilangelsora overall Marvel movies have been alot better....the last two batman movies have been great no doubt but let's not forget how awful the last two batman movies in the 90s were and how bad the last three superman movies have been...not to mention the green lantern this year...DC is greater at the animated series and animated movies...but the films overall Marvel has done a better job

@evilangelsora I disagree because The dark Knight trilogy are the only batman films better than Marvels movies. The other Batman movies are nothing compared to marvels. Dc doesn't even focus on any other characters besides Superman and until recently green lantern(which was terrible). Marvel has done Spidey,x-men fantastic four, iron man, thor, daredevil etc. I'm no Marvel fan boy but I think I'll give the movie title to them.

The Dark Knight and Batman Begins are in my opinion the best comic book movies that have been made, but other DC movies suck... look at superman returns, the green lantern or any other non burton/nolan batman films... they all suck. Marvel's best comic book films, even though they're better than these, are nowhere near as good as nolan's batman films. Not even close.

@evilangelsora while i agree that nolans batman is the best comic adaptation, if you dont read comics you cant really say spiderman isnt dark. he is VERY similar to batman in how brooding and introspective he is and how he feels that he was a reluctant superhero. almost forced into it. he isnt like the cartoon's show him which is most likely what you're referencing. even the tobey mcguire spiderman was like that.
