My neighbor had a pit bull that attacked two kids, a month later another pit bull

attacked an elderly women walking home in broad daylight near my neighborhood.They are banned in seven countries .I don't feel all of them are bad yet it could stem back to the owner or breeder .Pitbulls are last on my list of dog breed(s) to get, looks, nature of them are enough to defer me. This saddens me. We used to have legislation in Sweden that outlawed pitbulls, thank god that has changed. But still in europe, dogs are euthanized because the fact that they are pitbulls and targeted. Sometimes I try forget that it is 2009 and it´s still a world that wants to outlaw and punish the breed. I am fortunate to have had pitbulls legally and without worries, but I feel for all owners and dogs in countries that refuse to see the breed for what it is, which is loving and caring.

MY dog blue was shot to death by my grandmas neighbor because he would quit barking in the daytime.My four-year-old and seven-year-old cousins found his collar in the field, not knowing he was dead yet, and the 7 year old figured it out and now when she comes to my house she asks me to take down my pictures of him. Arnold should be ashamed..I mean really ashamed..I dont think it was on that page where you read about lucy but 30 minutes before they "killed" her they had the shelter surrounded by police because they were afraid someone would try to get in to get her out..Also as a punishment for all the calls to the shelter they made the family stay out when they euthanized her. Lucy was ALONE, alone with the people who didnt care or love her....DAMNIT!!!
