  • my dream

  • that looks like a good base for my next touring bike

  • Briliant bike!

  • You know I'm not really a big Ducati lover, but I must say, that streetfighter was NICEEEE!!!

  • great video!! and great bike...super sound!!

i'm a proud owner of a s4r monster and a HM 1100s as my nick name say it....they are my life!!

  • Sounds like a light aircraft.

  • I wish I could ride like this.........(sigh)

  • who needs brakes when you got a twin!

  • @bigwillybiker haha I think I'll take a slipper clutch and keep the brakes too.

  • 2 people are homo's

  • @ads0668 i don't even see the red line. .

    :D

  • Japanese 4 cyl. engines are for pussy...

    V Engine!

  • @heavymetalangel1989

    some japaneese engines are V4...

  • Is this the Ravioli Edition?

  • badass!

  • Belle moto , de beaux virages !!!

  • Is this guy huge or street fighter is a small naked??

  • amazing

  • If I didn't love my R1 I'd have to say this is what I'd save up for. Just an awesome bike overall in my opinion.

  • Crazy how it lifts the front wheel like that

  • just wondering, coming from a person that has never rode a motorcycle before, this might sound really stupid but, do you always have to go THAT low to turn?

  • @FlipSnipeZ No, these guys are what's known as "knee fags"...

  • @TheSentinelGuardian lol. it's like they want to crash :( but thanks!

  • @FlipSnipeZ np, of course I'm having fun here with these ass-clowns. My point is that it's become the big trend to touch your knee down. This is to the "look at me mommy" sportbike rider what $10,000 worth of chrome and obnoxiously load chrome pipes is to a "Harley Fag". If you have any more questions I'd be glad to help you out. In the mean time, have a good laugh with this! lol

Do this google search and click on the first link at the top:

    "southpark the f-word"

  • @TheSentinelGuardian thanks, will do

  • @TheSentinelGuardian

I think the primary reason people ride like that is because it is a crazy amount of fun. Whats the point of taking a ducati to the twisties if you don't ride it aggressively. I think comparing having fun riding a sportbike aggressively to revving your engine needlessly at stoplights so people look at you isn't a fair comparison.

  • @FlipSnipeZ if you want to take the corner at speed, you have to lower your center of gravity or else you make a cool stain on the road

  • @FlipSnipeZ i dunno wtf that other retards talking about. I've never heard anyone use the term "knee fag" and it's completley different to 10k in chrome. 10k of chrome serves no purpose whatsoever. No, you do not have to lean like that to turn but you do if you want to take the corner with some speed, as its the most effective way. If your not going to lean it over then you have to go reeaal slow, no fun. Faster you wanna go round the bend, the more you have to lean. Thats the guts of it anyway

  • Damn now i know for sure, i waaaant one. The looks and the sound just <3

  • dude what can i say thats sum smooth riding ther.. look pro mate way to go just watch those fukkers that got me (car) lol

  • amazing sound !!

  • nice ride. i know your other bike vids and would you say that cornering with the streetfighter is harder then with your "old" bike? (guess its been a honda). It seems that your old bike allowed you higher speed through corners - but for sure just because of different angle and stuff.... Great riding!!

  • the sound...urghhhhhhh!!!! :D

  • I'd love to hear this bike coming from far away, that exhaust note must carry for quite a distance.

  • Very nice ride!!!

  • thumbs up for that black haired hotness

  • Essa moto é uma das mais lindas, mas o som dela é horrível!;x

  • Yes, If I were going to buy a V-twin motorcycle, it would either be the Ducati or the Aprilia. Definitely not a hardly davisin or buel!

  • Sounds like the end of the world is coming, absolutely mean.

  • awesome bike, awesome riding. it's a shame that they cost over 20,000 euros in thailand!!!

  • Shit yeah, I can't wait to get back on my bike and ride. Power wheelies out of corners makes for many stupid grins inside my helmet.

Love the Streetfighter, I want one parked next to my Superduke R.

  • bike porn... <3

  • beautiful!

  • Thought during the first minute that a pussy were driving ;-) but afterwards it's more like my driving style I use to! Cool, can't wait to testdrive the Streetfighter the first time around April 2011. I'm a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 driver right now.

  • unless your on the track most of the time this power isnt used .Most of the tight twisties would be better served on a Duacti 2 valve with nice steady power delivery

Thats all you need. Any good rider on a 900 twin can keep up easily through the corners, only in high speed sweepers does the 4 valve over powered brutes take over. Now if you want to stay alive and keep your license, the 80-100 Hp Ducati's will do just fine and so much better at self maintenance, that s my 40yr Ducati experience

  • @barymire Following that train of thought my 400cc motard could probably beat the 1000cc duke through the tight twisty bits.

But yeah... good luck with that.

  • @HuggyXBear064 im not gonna say that the right rider could control all that power on the street fighter

but really , the most fun is on the super light bikes with sharp steering geometry

It really comes down to the right rider. I never said I had all the guts it takes, just more safety conscious

after enough accidents over 35 years and a few pounds of screws and metal bars in my leg

  • @barymire Totally agree with that 2nd paragraph.

    <3 my motard :P

  • @barymire Actually, a v-twin like this is way more fun on the road than any 1000cc 4 cilinder, as the low-end torque is way more useful on the road.

  • @DuranXL always true , I have a 2 valve Ducati , using the low end torque for breaking and that contact pulse that these motors deliver. Just that I rode this streetfighter , its quite the brute , cannot open it up in the tighter twisties, it does have its place out there. I prefer the smaller bikes and the air cooled Ducati motors

Just my personal preference. There's something for everyone

  • @barymire

That's the challenge.. throttle control in the corners.. It's indeed not that easy, but once your master it it's awesome. (just like KTMs superduke etc)

  • @barymire I agree, but that's the point of a streetfighter. He showed you can still have fun in the twisties, but that's not what it's about. Power wheelieing out of the corners is what that bikes all about. I agree with everything you said though.

  • @barymire

    That's true!

    But..

    I'm selling my s2r 1000 to buy streetfighter S... :))

    I rode Sf-S for 200km and I'm in love..

  • @barymire Fair point but who cares. Power is fun

  • @loslogo I've ridden the streetfighter thru the mountains and winding thru city streets in San Francisco, its an on /off power brute on arms and shoulders ,, not smooth at all. Power thats fun is usually on higher speed sweepers, which are not everwhere. dont put it past yourself to believe the Two valve 85 Hp Ducati motor is a Torque powerless slouch, caus it will blast your socks off on these roads with smoother control, not like the streetfighter going between 1st and second gear

  • @basracer I love my 1098, I've ridden a monster 1100 which was loaned to me when i had mine serviced and I enjoyed it but there is something intoxication about the power delivery on the 1098, your right it can be on/off but it just means you need a little finesse with the throttle. I get what your saying and i've had fun on scooters, power isnt everything, but trust me you can use it all if you know how.

  • @loslogo I know your younger than me so leaning over onto elbows and wrists with an eventual sore lower back is for you youngins. I now ride a Bimota DB4ie and to make it a better riding position I put the nicest fully adjustable clipons with risers and made this a dream bike to ride. Ultimately having multiple bikes really is the answer. I'm sure that 1098 is quite the bike, I might have wanted one back in 1980 when I rode my 900ss Ducati Darmah which now would scare me to ride

  • fucking awesome!!!!!!

  • Average speed?!?

  • I own the bike (in red) but I don´t ride as good...DAMN!!

At 1:17 was that a clutch or gas wheelie?

Good job & great video mate!

  • @Gurglmaster2000

Thats a power wheelie, the SF has a lot of torque due to the L-twin engine and the shorter gears

  • @ltsnipe thx about the info & I know about the torque :) :)

  • @Gurglmaster2000 sound like it's off the power, not clutch

  • awesome!!!

  • man, you're riding the hell outta that thing!!!!!!! good job

  • This is a great video. I've been a recording engineer for 35 years and have done many audio post projects for film and I'm very impressed with your audio. Excellent work..

  • Nice sound recording!

  • i have the same shift tech exhaust. Stock ecu. I'm thinking about getting the microtec ecu ...is it a major improvement? night & day difference? awesome video by the way!!!
