  • i was looking for the older one not the newer one thanks.yes they are great but i like the older black and white for a comedy show better

  • thouse two are simply wondeful to listen to you can see, that they really enjoy playing, everyone who plays music should take a look of thouse two, an a great inspiration for others to practice, practice and practice and have fun while you play

  • I love the idea of the piano being faulty not the pianist. Victor was truely inspiring and made me want to play piano. I am working on a score for the second part of the clip, me and a friend have already mastered the Hungarian Rhapsody sketch and once I finish the score for this, we shall attempt it in public!

  • Is that a bit of Liszt's E flat piano concerto, at 5:56? It sounds very similar to the end of the third movement, but maybe it's only a coincidence.

  • The second part of this is truly amazing... and very funny. 2 supremely talented men.

  • @panagasios wow thank you so much!!!! yes it is.

  • What a lovely video!

Going through the time, we can see those 2 prodiges having fun, with talent and charism.

I really lovictor Borge as an artist and as a man!

  • LOL, loved the part when Victor would purposely go off key and play different music along with the main piece hehe.

  • That's how duets should be for two pianos. Back to back so you can switch between pianos and feel struggle for the seat.

  • Never on a sunday

  • This is really difficult, you have to filter through the other person's piano sounds

  • pls tell me what is the name of the bit that starts at 5:30 and 6:03! i remember i played 6:03 on a keyboard when i was younger

  • 5:30 is Trepak from the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky.

  • I should know the title of what Victor and Leonid start playing at 5:03, but I haven't got a clue. Does anyone else know what the name of that bit is?

  • Tchaikovsky's Concerto no. 1, just in a different key for comic effect. Most of the beginning of the black and white video is that.

  • WOW I love this waltz! And Victor Borge an Leonid Hambro... impressive!!

  • what waltz?!

  • @fireball79058350 The "Minute Waltz" by Chopin ;-)

  • Sadly both Leonid Hambro and Victor Borge are no longer with us anymore. Leonid died after complicationsd he had from a fall . He was 86, and Victor Borge was 90 when he passed away on Christmas Eve 1990

  • Actually Victor died in 2000, not in 1990. And Leonid Hambro died in 2006.

  • @leandar . Apologies my mistake. We had booked to see him on his return vist to Perth in February of 2001 when we got the news that he had passed away in his sleep. I loved his sense of humour and his virtuoso skills on the piano

  • When someone mentions the entertainer, I think of Victor and not the song.

  • 6:03 The best!!

  • brilliant - entertaining

  • Me and a freind have asperations to play this, o something of this calibour

  • the minute waltz i assume?

  • well yes but the black and white part is what i really want.

  • me too, but it's damn difficult.

  • where do i find the duet score for this =.=

  • oh yeah, now i remember, its the piano concerto no. 1 in b flat minor

  • By Tchaikovski.

  • The best part was when borge and hambro did a medley of chopin's minute waltz & tchaikovsky. (i don't know what is the name of the piece of tchaikovsky) Maybe the nutcracker suite...

  • Do you recom there's a score for this?

cos if their is i've got to get my hands on a copy!

  • Gosh the first part is super cool and yet the second part is incredible!!! Thanks for posting *****

  • how sexy is that!!?????????

  • lol wtf r they doin?!?!??!

anyone free enough, pls list out wat pieces / songs r they playing... (including those key changing in the tchaikovsky piano concerto)...

VERY CHAOS IN THE OLDER PART!!!!!

    (but really quite funny...)

  • the older part was hilarious!

    "WAIT FOR ME!!" lol

  • Lee Hambro was the most wonderful teacher. A truly kind and wonderful human being. And his son Simeon a brilliant guitarist.

  • Absolutely genial !

  • the faco in victor borge is pricelss at 2:46, every time i see it i smile. He was and still is a genius as the same with leonid hambro. the are just so great!! i love these guys.

  • awesom!!!

  • where can I get the score from the first song (Minute Waltz for two pianos)?

    thanks!

  • Que genio!

    Que Increible!!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song @ 6:03 in the video?

  • It's a greek song composed by Manos Hadjidakis for the film "Never on Sunday" or "Jamais le dimanche" in french, made by Jules Dassin. The title of the song is "Les enfants du Pirée", played very fast here.

  • Chopin would love this!

  • at 6:29 he hits a wrong note,haha...thats very funny...

  • If somone aound it's professional pianist, maybe could explain for me how they keep sinchrony playing so fast togeter.

  • omg I loved this song lol

trying to learn it again=] it's coming back real quick

  • i just discovered this guy today too

    i love him. hes a GENIUS !

hes offically 1 of my heros !

  • he passed away in 2000. he was 99. and yes he was indeed a genious. he narrowly escaped the nazis who were after him becahse he made a fool of them in his early shows. he was the last man ion the last boat out of denmark before the nazis came

  • what that is incredible. so happy that he escaped to live a normal life doing what he loved.

  • i don't know if anyone would call him normal, but he was one of tghe last great comedic geniuses the likes of jack benny, martin and lewis, ect... good clean fun.they don't do comedy like that these days.

  • I don't know where you get your information from.. He was born on Januari 3 1909, and died december 23 2000, making him almost 92, but certainly not 99.

  • Love this guy.. can't believe I've never heard of him but today I watched all of the clips about him lol

    They're simply great..

  • Good Clip..

  • Piano beutifull it's incredibe because even after get very old reaching 80's, you can keep a incredible ability to get wonderfull sounds.

  • What victor is playing sounds familiar... what isit?

  • this is the minute waltz, by Chopin. Unlike the joke which implies it's only one minute long, the name means short or small waltz.

  • Great Video... Pure talent at its finest.

    Rest in Peace, Victor.

  • I love victor borge...

  • greatness in this vid thanx for sharing this
