I am not done. When I refer to the 'free-men and women' that volunteer I refer to our UNITED STATES MARINE CORP. Founded on 11/10/1775. Their dress uniforms have a vertical red strip on the slacks. That is to represent the shed blood of tens of thousands of Marines (who all volunteered and were never drafted) and died to preserve the rights of all Americans to redress their grievances. The USMC is hugely overrated. Since 1945, they have not fought in a single just war; they've simply done the dirty work for a series of corrupt politicians, from Bush Jr. to Johnson & Kennedy, McKinley & Hearst's sham war in the Pacific, and on back to their foundation. Even in WWII, the USMC's main contribution was island fighting against the Japanese; helpful, but it didn't win the war. No Marine has died to preserve our rights since 1945. Neither Korea, Vietnam nor Iraq ever attacked the US.
One problem: you could not name a more dyed-in-the-wool bunch of liberals than our Founding Fathers werec. Jefferson? Franklin? Paine? Madison? Alexander Fucking Hamilton? Liberals to a man.
