i just got the razzle dazzle dvd and i realized why i had such a crush on brett. he was past attractive, he was drop dead gorgeous as a young man. at first, i was dismayed when i saw him in this, but then, i realized that our bodies are just jackets we wear, he is exactly the same person he was then that he is now. i don't look like teen age me anymore either. still love this guy. but watching him on the dvd is a trip down memory lane and i could happily live there.
I was surprised when I first viewed this video of Brett. He looked so much older ....but at the end of the tape, I saw that beautiful twinkle in his eyes. Thanks for all the happiness you brought me with your music and comedy!
The lighting and camera angle are pretty bad, they make his mouth look funny. I was soooo in love with him when I was 13 or so. My best friend and I wrote him love letters that we never sent. Probably for the best!
It's still Brett, don't dis my favorite! Besides, who of us still look the same as we once did in 1974? Thanks for making these videos available - I've always wanted to see them again! Thank you, Brett, for sharing!
yes, brett has changed and he was the cutest and youngest, but you can still see him. just look into his beautiful eyes. boy was i inlove with these guys.
I wasn't a fan of the Hudson Brothers though I liked them.. there was NO ONE but The Beatles for me. I think that is why I can see all three of them and think they look good for 'guys my age'. I just LOVE Mark!!! His look is unique and his personality..well.I can't say enough about that!
I acualy saw the hudson brothers in concert, for about five minutes. it was at the state fair in the late 70's a free performance, was a fan as a young kid. by that time I was into led zep vanhalen and such. But the girls where going crazy for these guys. So I figured this aint no place to pickup girls, so I left.
I didn't mean to imply that Brett looks BAD. He just in no way resembles the teen idol I sighed over in the seventies. It was kind of a shock to see him look so different, but he's not at all unattractive. In fact he's quite a nice-looking man and still has the same sweet smile and nice eyes he always had.
Well, none of us stay the same. Peter Frampton was adored not only for his music but for his gorgeous hair. Well, now the hair is gone, but he''s still as prolific as ever, and that great smile of his too.
Life gets better when we age, in spite of the changes!
Couldn't agree more with the sentiment, JM. I've seen lots of performers be very bitter when their careers don't go the way they'd like. They can at least appreciate that they are still kicking and alive to tell about it. That's more important than fame and money no matters what anyone says.
THIS is Brett Hudson? The youngest, cutest Hudson brother? Brett Hudson was born in 1953, which would make him 54. This guy looks much old than that, mid-sixties maybe. Even the voice sounds nothing like him. His brother Bill, is still recognizable as himself, and though an older man still looks good. WHAT happened to Brett?!

I agree, girl! I saw this and said out loud (even though I was by myself) "WHAT!!!!" Damn, Brett didn't age well at all. I was crazy-mad-flipped over Brett in the 70s. I wish I had never seen this!!!!
he is still awsome--knew him long ago and he stayed the sweet young man he was then.

I know, it's awful. But he's fighting it pretty successfully. He didn't have it yet when I did this interview.

The cutest Hudson Brother didn't age well at all. Sad to see this. I always loved "So You Are A Star"; very Beatleseque.
