The wolf-dog obviously doesn't see the raccoon as a fellow animal, it sees it as a toy. And like many dogs, if a dog is left alone with a toy, they will tear it up. The raccoon obviously feels threatened by this wolf-dog and is most likely defending itself so the wolf-dog will go away, however it can go away, as the owner is holding it down.

Whenever people say even captive bred human raised wolf hybrids are unpredictable and dangerous and that it takes thousands of years of domestication to make them safe, I tell them they should go try and pet an unsocialized feral dog.

If domestication could breed the instincts/aggression out of animals, then there wouldn't be such a problem with aggressive unsocialized "pet" dogs.

A hybrid may not be for everyone, but neither is an Akita, St. Bernard, a horse, etc.
