Is interesting to see the evolution of some bands. The degree of entusiasm and inonence in Hot Fuss leave the album in almost the same standing of Day & Age, where their musicianship developed and the showmanship as well! However I think Sam's Town is probably their best album, if not for the balance of those characteriscs previously mentioned, than for When We Were Young which is the single best piece of music they have written.

What's interesting is to see their showmanship develop, as well as their musicianship. Watch the Royal Albert Hall cut of this same song...it's like two different bands. They were good when they started, but I really think they've come into their own with their later works. Viva la Killers!

They didn't sell out. They just made a weird album that a lot of people thought was crap. Selling out is making something everyone likes so you can make money. If you notice, Hot fuss sold more copies then Sam's Town so if anything they've gotten more original with time.
