  • well if you are going to join the military....then you have to go to war when the time comes. Ron Paul is a weed man. that in itself is allowing illegal drugs...he probably smokes it himself. Allowing another country to make nuclear bombs...yea I guess huh? what kind of fun would it be without the bombs...how entertaining. I suppose that 9/11/2001 that The UN was supposed to allow the Tala ban to just kill thousands of Americans and just put their tails between their legs and run.

  • @canadianbleueyes The Taliban didn't kill Americans on 9/11, Al Qaeda did. Paul voted for military action in AFG after 9-11 to get Al Qaeda, not to stay indefinitely. If a Mexican gang attacked China & then hid in TX, would it be OK for China to invade? Wouldn't some Texans who had nothing to do with the original attack defend TX from China? Would that justify China fighting them for 10yrs? In the description I am adding a link to an article by David Henderson, & another video.

  • @RonPaul2012Vet : Taliban, Al Qaeda...who the F. cares..they are all terrorists. Same difference. As for Ron Paul...LMFAO!!! Yea okay..well guaranteed he won't be nominated..no foreign policy ..he is a RINO! Only for his own ideas. Like we need another idiot in Washington.

  • @canadianbleueyes "Taliban, Al Qaeda...they are all terrorists. Same difference" This is like equating a homeowner who kills an armed intruder in the middle of the night, and a vindictive man who tracks down his ex-girlfriend and commits premeditated murder. You could say "they are both killers. Same difference," but you would be wrong. One is initiating force, the other is defending his property.

  • "Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not, started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 and have continually threatened to do so since? Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from the capitol of the USA and in a field in Pennsylvania ? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

  • Do you think I care about four U. S. Marines urinating on some dead Taliban insurgents? And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of a nation they are fighting against in a brutal Insurgency. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East, start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which, is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan .

  • I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head, while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called insurgents in Afghanistan , come out and fight like men, instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in Mosques and behind women and children.

  • I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of Nirvana, care about the innocent children within range of their suicide Bombs.I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom of Speech on stories, is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home, to hear about them when something happens.

  • In the meantime, when I hear a story about a CANADIAN soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care. Shoot him again.

  • When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food, that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe, in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn you guessed it. I don't care!!

  • Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering, if during their life on earth, they made a difference in the world. But, the Soldiers don't have that problem. One last thought for the day: Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

    1. Jesus Christ, 2. The British Soldier. 3. The Canadian Soldier. 4. The US Soldier, and 5. The Australian Soldier One died for your soul, the other four, for you and your children's Freedom.

  • I didn't write this but I'm passing it on to you because I feel that the whining, crying and complaining should cease...and know that we have all done our duties for our countries and that not everyone is as bitter as some of you for the service of our countries. I to served and I feel the same way the writer above does.

  • GET OVER YOURSELVES AND YOUR POLITICAL VIDEOS...

  • @RonPaul2012Vet : I defend my country...and yet I'm not a murderer...personally speaking you are ranting and really being a Ron Paul follower is nothing to write home about...get over yourself and read this because in all aspects...Ron Paul isn't going to get the nomination specifically because he's old and feeble minded.

  • @RonPaul2012Vet I pay my monies to the Wounded Warriors Project because I believe that everyone should be there for the ones that gave all for their country and the ones that come home and need the support to carry on. Yea Been there done that myself.

  • Great vidio. As a veteran, I believe you said exactly what needs to be said. Thank you, God bless.

  • 1. "I made a bad decision and joined the military to fight senseless wars against terrorism that Ron Paul voted for in Afghanistan"

    2. "I reenlisted and served under 3 presidents because the military was so bad, and I could not figure out that I was not actually defending America"

    3. "Now that I am out of the Military you should take my advice and ignore all of my bad decisions and vote for Paul"

    4. The Military is full of high school kids and we should let them choose our president.

  • @thedudeabides76

    1. Like many I mistakenly believed that the military defended the country and its freedoms. I decided to join in 1999 before the current wars against terrorism. Paul voted for the original Authorization of Military Force which allowed war to kill or capture “those responsible for 9/11” and nothing else.

    2. I loved the Army and planned on serving 20 yrs because I had not yet realized that I was not defending America. Iraq planted the seeds of doubt in my mind.

  • @RonPaul2012Vet I agree with you there. Obama (and Bush before him) is more of a threat to our liberty than any foreign nation.

We only have one war going on now and that is the one that Paul voted for.

I am for defending America's interests, but I am not for this nightmare of nation building. Sometimes we need to defend our allies. Is Paul going to ignore all of our international treaties? Would he call NATO a bad idea? It kept the Soviet Union from expanding.

  • @thedudeabides76 Paul also opposes nation building. That's why he now opposes Afghanistan. His support was for the original AUMF, by that measure he says we should have not taken our eye off the ball w/ IRQ and we should have been out of AFG by now. He opposes NATO and the UN because we should not answer to anyone. He sees membership as an affront to our sovereignty.

  • @thedudeabides76

    3. In 2007 Ron Paul ran for president and opened my eyes to facts obscured by 12 years of public school, 8 years of service, and constant media propaganda. You should take a serious look at Paul now, like I did in 2007. It might change your life like it did mine.

  • @RonPaul2012Vet I already have. He has been in congress for 30 something years. Tell me what he has done. If he can't work with the house while he is there, then why do you think that he would be able to work with anyone as president. Also, I am opposed to gay marriage, legal drugs, and his opposition to abortion seems politically convienant to me. So, I think that he would accomplish the things that I don't like. Then he would fail on things like ending the IRS, FED, DOE, DHS, etc.

  • @thedudeabides76 Wasn't trying to specifically say YOU should look, just trying to restate my point in defense of your impression of my point. i.e. My original point wasn't for viewers to "take my advice, ignore my bad decisions and vote for Paul", it was for them to "look at Paul if they haven't it might change them like it did me."

  • @thedudeabides76 In 30yrs he hasn't successfully changed much. One man can't. But his following now, and his opponents attempts to adopt his positions that they laughed at 4 years ago make a case for his 30yrs being worth something. He may not be able to persuade congress to help him on everything, but as Commander in Chief he can bring troops back from nation building and quit wasting lives, and money. We can't afford it.

  • @RonPaul2012Vet Bush claimed that he was against Nation building 12 years ago, so I don't know how much of the change is a result of Paul rather than the reality of the situation. But, I respect your opinion and you seem very respectful and intelligent. Maybe one day someone will adopt some good points from Paul and leave some of the libertarian points behind and we can develop a candidate that I like. Thanks for taking the time to respond back to my comments.

    4. Most who join the military are recent H.S. graduates who are 18 years old and have the right to vote. Since they are the ones risking their lives and seeing the wars up close, they are more likely to realize our foreign policy is counter productive. If Americans want to support them, they should move past hollow praise, take a critical look at our military actions and the results they produce, and vote accordingly.

  • We have had troops in hundreds of countries. Tell me why the Islamists are the only countries that show our foreign policy to be counter productive. Does Japan hate us, Does Germany hate us, Does South Korea hate us? Veit Nam doesnt even hate us. It isn't our policy that makes them hate us. They hate us because we are not Muslim. Show me one place in the world where Muslims are not fighting another religion. They will continue to fight until the whole world is under Islam.

  • @thedudeabides76 I don't think Islamist countries are the only ones which show our policy to be counter productive. I don't have numbers but certainly there a large groups in every country we occupy who hate us. If China had a base in the U.S. I would definitely hate them for it, but I would not necessarily resort to violence. However, if China was sanctioning, bombing, and conducting a ground invasion "for the good" of my country... I definitely would. Self Defense.

  • Anyone that has one of those "support our troops" yellow ribbon stickers on their vehicle should add another sticker after it saying "bring them home now! No more imperial wars! Ron Paul 2012"!

  • U say it like it is and it don,t help big buisness and Lamestream media is a big big LIE but RON PAUL is 4 Freedom and Liberty and our real USA not the phony corporate USA ty sir 4 your facts and service TY

  • YEAH BABY! That's what I'm talking about. Thanks for your insight and service brother! RON PAUL 2012!

  • Awesome video. Thank you pal

  • Ron Paul 2012. No more wars! I'm tired of fighting.

  • I agree. Ron Paul voted against the Iraq War and predicted it would cost many times more than estimated. Ron Paul said we may be less secure than more secure. Are we more secure being 3 times more in DEBT...instead of $5 Trillion now $15 Trillion? Are we more secure now that the Dollar is weaker and more at risk due to the printing presses? Are we more secure with the same unsecure Southern Border? Are we more secure now or are more hated around the world?

  • I hope you win the contest my friend! Very powerful speech! Ron Paul 2012!

  • Great video my friend

  • I thank you so much for your service to our nation. I just wish that the people of this nation would wake up to the atrocities done in its name around the world, so that they could truly support you and all the troops fighting for this once great nation.

  • TELL'EM BROTHER !!! Ron Paul FTW 2012, I am active duty 17 years.. and will be voting for Ron Paul !! he is for a real ROE.

  • @brindell tell 'em what? he ain't telling me shit...cause it's all shit so y'all need to get over yourselves. ROE...yea LMFAO on that one.
