Gotta love all the courage and integrity displayed by these characters! Last episode when they were handing out food to the citizens and came under attack, the princess jumped on her horse and rode for cover leaving children standing in the street that was being bombed! Now the nanny shows up who "loves the princess like a mother" - but was all to happy to run away and leave her alone in that ruin of a castle, under constant attack, until she heard Voltron was back! Yeesh.

I found out that Betty Jean Ward voiced Princess Allura, Princess Romelle, Haggar, and Nanny.

My concern is that Nanny kept treating Princess Allura like a child who needed to be constantly watched and frequently disciplined, instead of the ruler of Planet Arus and pilot of Blue Lion.

@fullstack2 technially...no. Maybe the show Power Rangers we know but it's actual Japanese name Super Sentai, started their series in the mid 70s. This show didn't start until the late 80s. So it's possible that Voltron ( Or Go Lion in Japanese ) took from Super Sentai.

Aren't you stupid? Both were created by the same group , and Power Rangers was created first , in the form of Sentai. Voltron was just a failed prototype anime for more articulate robots that somehow came to America out of sheer luck. Why am I saying this? Yeah, I think some of the writers assumed Lance was the rider of the blue lion, because of his blue uniform (And that Keith and Sven were the only ones with mismatched uniforms/lions). That may of led to the mistake that Sven was the rider of the red lion (Right Arm of Voltron).

I often get confused with the seating arrangements. I've always assumed that the uniforms should match the lions. Hell even the writers got confused with the previous episode, "The Right Arm (Leg) of Voltron".

But in some ways Lance and Sven do kind of look alike, and Lance was temporally captured by Hagar before Sven came in to save him. So there was some mix up there.
