  • try aiming you wrist down and then snap it back up during that period it builds up more momentum

  • is there any trick or training i could do to increase my 1inch punch power?

  • Its a very nice video but next time ahh..punch the center not the top but nice vid

  • Deep Freezers Don't Punch Back.

  • @UserIsAnFBIAgent Very true.......thanks for watching!

  • Cool Punch! It would have been great to show it in slow motion too...

    Jeff

  • @carsbyjeff Thanks for watching....maybe I'll do the slow-mo next time.

  • Looked like a punch followed by a push...I don't doubt that it's powerful for what it is, it was just a bit obvious that you slightly pushed it with your fist.

  • @kc550 I understand what you're saying, but it's definitely difficult to move an object of that weight without pushing through a bit. If you watch Bruce Lee perform the punch, you'll see that he pushes a bit as well. I actually was a bit unhappy with that strike myself and I filmed another attempt, but when I went to edit, I found that the camera must have been on standby...so I didn't have the footage. I might give it another go one day.

  • nice!

  • @tonkpils707 Thanks for watching!

  • @RamblinAround I've seen people rip phone books through trickery and bending them a certain way, but I feel like I have also seen people poke through them. Do you know anything about that Ninja'ry? LOL

  • @ProjectCarTV I know how to rip phone books in half, but I don't know how to poke through one. Seems like that would be pretty difficult..lol

  • Rent-A Center is going to be pissed when they pick up the fridge

  • @9secondsflat LOL....thanks for watching!

  • I've enjoyed this series. This was all "Greek" to me beforehand. Since my fridge has been acting up lately, I wouldn't mind a little practice of my own.

  • @kookiemoose Yes, it may be time for you to put the fridge in it's place....lol

  • What did that freezer do to you ? Not a thing ! LOL.

  • @coolkat902 The cool thing about punching a freezer is that if you hurt your hand, you can just open the door and stick it the ice for a bit.

  • ouch!

  • @auzzybloke Thanks for watching!

  • Nice video! It definitely made a lot of power on that fridge.

I wanted to know, is it possible to learn fighting moves by watching videos and then repeating? Just for self-defense.

    Thanks!

  • @lilmb94 Sure, you can definitely learn from watching others whether it be in person or on video. The benefit of a live instructor is that they can offer you feedback as you go along, like making small adjustments to your stance or hand position. However, if you find some quality video instruction and then practice it diligently, you can become fairly proficient at techniques on your own. For self-defense, you can also gain an advantage by simply getting into better physical condition.

  • @RamblinAround Alright, thanks! I will start learning now. :D

  • yknow, if you wanted to move your freezer you could use a dolly, it'd hurt less i'm sure.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana You may be right...lol. Thanks for watching.

  • Hi Jeff-Thank you for the demo--

    HAppy Valentine's day.....

  • @luvperu1 Thanks for watching and Happy Valentine's Day to you too....although we still have a few days to go yet.

  • That is good to know for self defence.

  • @monarch1957 Thanks for watching!

  • my buddy has been taking karate lessons for years. i can still take him down with a simple punch. this is a good concept.

  • That my brother little Frig don't NOW ur going to take on the Frig FAMILY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more cold beer @ 32 degrees. Be warned R.A.

  • @HarPlayer Don't ever threaten a man's beer...lol

  • Did you break something in that freezer. By the way I will not be picking on you in a bar.

  • @rmaster1ruby There was definitely something rattling around in there, but I didn't look to see how everything help up yet.

  • Its the five finger death punch sounded like you had a few beers in there

  • @2024JayZ There were a few things in there. I haven't checked to see how it all held up.

  • Hope you didn't knock over the beer in the fridge!

  • @GerryK61 Yes, you'll want to move your beer to the safety of your belly before attempting this demonstration.

  • now I know what to do if I go to a bar and a freezer starts picking on me.. haha.. j.k.

  • @1963impala2dr Yep, now the next time your freezer gives you that cold icy stare, you won't be afraid...lol Thanks for watching Ken!

  • @RamblinAround lol.. my fridge has been giving me the cold shoulder.. lol.. your vids are always interesting Jeff.. keep em coming !

  • Lets do a Jeff & Jeff match lol !!!!! Great stuff and I agree a short punch does work bin there done that !!!!! : }

  • Note to Self... Do not upset Jeff.

  • @MyAussieDay It's ok, I stick to beating up books and appliances these days...lol

  • That punch right there in the nose is gonna water their eyes up enough to give you the opportunity to deliver something good !!!!

  • @cisjohn2616 Very true, too many guys go for the big haymaker right off the bat. You're generally better off if you sling a quick, straight punch to their nose to get them off their game plan and then follow up with something more substantial. When you develop good short range power, it allows you to be very deceptive. For instance, you can begin extending your open hand slowly in front of you, as if you're asking them to stop.......but at the last moment you cant accelerate into a strike.

  • Well Done . I can see you at the Car shop , I asked you not to touch the CAR :)

  • @krazy45cat LOL....thanks for watching!

  • Glad I'm not your fridge right about now. A 1 inch punch came up as a related vid, but it looked highly ineffective compared to this.

  • @TheLionsDenNews Thanks for watching Andy. It really is difficult to perform the one inch punch effectively. I plan to do a video on it at some point as well.

  • looks very effective...thumbs up!!!

  • Nice. Shows that you don't need a dramatic roundhouse swing to be effective. That fridge rocked pretty good.

  • I'm glad you finally gave that little book a brake and found something your own size to pick on!!☺

  • @805ROADKING LOL....I'm letting the book recuperate for a bit. Didn't want people thinking I have some bizarre hatred of literature or anything.

  • nice... security for VonAmp??

  • @AddictiveBreedNICK Yep, that's the deal when they go on their world tour.

  • @RamblinAround I'm shouting beer when you hit Australian soil my friend

  • @AddictiveBreedNICK I sure hope we make it down there one day.

  • @RamblinAround - Oh yes, those scenarios DO come up! LOL

  • Kick they ass bro'

  • Good deal man! Your versatility in subject matter never ceases to amaze me! Bravo!

  • @radicaldanzero Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

  • @radicaldanzero is there ANYthing this guy cant do!?

  • @1963impala2dr I know right! LOL

  • Yea you have me punching things now lol.

  • @woodzo40 LoL, it's a good way to get the frustration out. I was proud of myself for using some restraint. I was going to punch my refrigerator in the kitchen, but I thought this was probably a better idea.

  • Sorry to anyone whose comments were lost from the earlier vid. I pulled it down to turn the sound up a bit because it was so quiet.
