PGDN / Ammonium Nitrate (ANPGDN)

Has anybody tried Urea nitrate? First take 500 gallons of piss... (really, you nitrate the sludge from boiled down urine!)

excatly what is pgdn? - like is it a nitration of something or...?

@neovictorius Propylene Glycol Dinitrate . yes, essentially a nitration of propylene glycol wich has many used including bio friendly antifreeze and a key component in food coloring

@dasgemuse so is the second nitration as har dto add as it is on TNT or is it just as wasy as making ETN (i know that there's 3 nitrations on TNT and ETN)

@neovictorius i never finished a TNT syth successfully, so i'd say it's easier than TNT and just as easy as ETN. i really hate TNT. the last time i tried it, the reaction was so hot that my thermometer exploded and ruined the entire synth.

can u set these things off with a sparkler or thermite?

if you want to get technical... yes. but this is no sparkler bomb. AN based explosives are reletively quite hard to set off. the only fuse that should be used (safely) is your average waterproof cannon fuse or electric detonation. ( i am assuming you are asking if a thermite mixture is capable of initiating the det cap and not the main charge) if not... thermite is NOT capable if detonating any AN based explosive especially AN/PGDN. PGDN has a VERY low sensitivity to schock.

Like the man said, its toxic.

Not all nitric esters have the same toxicity level.

For instance, Nitro is far less toxic than its cousin EGDN. Methyl nitrate as well has a very high toxicity level.

This is why I prefer Nitro over any other Nitric ester. Plus, supplies are easily found :)

do u make all this stuff i was thinkn of trying to get some off my mate well gelignite or dynamite coz he works at a mine company and has a explosive licence to blow up rocks n stuff but its hard to steal in australia like even for people who use it legaly

well that sounds like a bad idea. i'm pretty sure someone has come up with an extensive security system to keep explosives away from the general public, especially in australia. not to mention the fact that no modern mining company would use gelignite or NG. you would most likely find a AN based explosive.

yeee your right but back in the 80,s my uncle stole 50kg of each dynamite and gelignite but thatwas back then...... but yee your right they do have good security for it in modern mining companys but mining companys do use mainly dynamite but they would have gelignite sticks but not much my mate has showed me them on a pic wat he uses gelatin gelignite and dynamite but yee it is hard to get lol ill stick to my fireworks

I don't think so... PropyleneGlycolDinitrate should be as toxic as any other nitric ester - not very.

I just wouldn't eat any.
