Still does the trick! Apart from the portal to Mauradon that nowadays requires you to jump, but another commenter already mentioned that. This was the last coin I needed for the Lunar pet! Thank you so much! I always found Mauradon such a maze, even back in vanilla!

Couple things after Cata: 1. You don't need to click the portal to enter, just stand on the platform with it. 2. You will be facing the right way when porting in, just run straight forward and jump down the waterfall, and continue straight past the hydras and spiral up on the left. 3. You can skip a lot of the running around by simply jump off ledges, though the jump to the last bridge will take ~80% of your HP.

Lol i turned this video and thought use it to get there. But all i did i went randomly all the way left and found inner instance entrace, then i jumped from somewhere and went the water way to the elder. Took 3 or 4 mins, it was so fast.

Much faster way is to go to Princess as normal, jump over the ledge into water below, and follow the path out of the water. The elder is very near the bottom of the path leading back up into the twisting labyrinth you took.

EAsy way out of this place is to invite a friend, make them leader and leave party. This will get you ported out of instance, very close to outer gate. Usually more convinient than hearthing back to capital city if you want to stick around to get to rest of the elders on the continent.

As of patch 4.0.3, I see a few differences - the most major of which was that when I went through the portal, I was ABOVE the falls, while this video starts below them. But a quick jump down (the water prevents damage) fixed that. I also did not see the goblin that was pointed out, and the mobs varied in many respects.

But the (fixed) landmarks and commentary were all good, and I really appreciate this video. Lord knows how long it would have taken otherwise! Thanks!

Lol.. in this video, yes, but only because my 1H's are more fun.

I use my 2H all the time for normal play (my main spec is Frost Tanking), but for running low level content like this I whip out the 1H's cos they're more fun for a change.
