@iMidnightSkies Actually he's right, one of her shots resembles Fedex'forehand!! Ever seen Henin make a running cross court forehand winner?! I guess not, because then you would EXACTLY know that they have almost identical forehand winners. Don't believe me check the youtube video;Roger Federer and Justine Henin Topspins backhands" as for the forehand; not often but sometimes you see the same flashes of greatness from Henin that Federer frequently applies!
but observers must note that grip is not static, it's a mistake i think many casual players make. Ofcourse, everyone has a grip that's their most consistent and most comfortable, but be flexible and be able to hit with all the 3 forehand grips should the occasion arise.
i.e. i am comfortable with all 3, though i use the eastern the most, especially when i wana be agressive, etc.
just realize she hit the ball on the " dead spot of the racquet " hehe, Her, Federer Djokovic, Nadal, have the same forehand backswing. Racquet face down. hmmmm.
what's worng with that - i mean of course no shot is without any spin but look at nadal he sometimes releases very flat shots, too...though his extreme western grip. and 2xtrbo is still right^^ lmao on you thinking western grip is only for topspin. that's how i understand your comment - correct me if i'm wrong
That's why I think during my stroke . . . handle, handle, handle, swing. The handle of her racquet points forward for a long time before she releases the head.
hahaha WEST SIIIIIIIIDE

Yeah she really swings across her body and comes over that one. Not! Way to go USTA. All about the angular momentum.

okaaaaaaaay she is anything but the female version of federer

reminds me a little bit of the Fed and Nadal forehand

@mustang100002 Do not insult Federer and Nadal in that way. How dare you compare those two greats to this loser.

Snaurt is right, semi-western is much confortable and easier to hit. Western is much to extreme.
Justin seems to be using a winshield wiper forehand in this video. Look at her finishing, you can see her string very well.

semi-western, no one has a western

@Snaurt full western

I thought she used a semi western

I love that grip, western. You can still hit flat shots with it but you can also topspin it too. Many players have different styles with it.
