  • how far did it fly?

  • @Androandroandrica about 170-180 meters, I didn´t use full draw though.

  • Which one shoots more smoothly, less handshock and all that?

  • @Borealer As I wrote to you in a previous PM. ;-) The Kassai bow shot the arrows slightly longer than the Grozer bow did but just a couple of meters.

The Kassai bow is more comfortable to draw than the Grozer bow is. But on the other hand, it kicks more in the hand.

  • @gladgurkan91 Haha I only noticed right after I posted that I'd asked that before....I just cant decide on what model to get

  • @Borealer Hehe, yeah, I can understand that ^^. Hm, have you considered buying Grozer´s "Avar base"-bow? It´s kind of a mixture between a Scythian bow and an Hungarian bow.

I haven´t tried one for myself, tough.

  • jag trodde att du var ungrare med.Var bor du annars?

  • nem magyar vagy te gyerek?

  • @zagyva Sorry, I don´t know magyar...USe english please! ;)

  • Hey man what are the draw weights of your bows? Happy shooting...

  • @Agincourtwarbow Hi there! Erm, not much, really. The Mongolian is about 50# at 30" and the Scythian is about 42# at 28". But they are still remarkably fast ;)

  • @gladgurkan91 Hey thats fine! Cant shoot too heavy a bow on horseback! That is something Ive found about this type of bow, they are really fast!

    Best wishes

  • Hi, where are you living? greets from Munich

  • Greetings my friend! Great field to practise!

  • @Trophybow1 Greetings! :)

Yes, I agree with you. If i can get my hands on some ping-pong balls I may consider to make another "whistling arrow"-movie at that field. ;)

  • That is a great field! Have you ever tried this with fire arrows? :)

  • @firebelliedtoad yep, it fits good for this kind of shooting. :)

No, not with these bows, but I did try it with another bow (a little compound bow), about four years ago...I used aluminium arrows with som clothing wrapped around them + some diesel. It didn´t work too well. :P

  • @sorbothane Yeah, it is. They´re flying for quite a while. I´ve tested too shoot almost straight up in the air, and it takes a while before the arrows lands. ;)

  • hey bud nice video keep up the shooting !!!!!

  • @CONNORWIESELER2014 Hi there, and thank you! Yep, I sure will. :)

  • what poundage is your scythian bow

  • @J0eMusty The Old Scythian bow is 42# at 28".

  • Looks like fun!. I'd like to try this, but first i need to find a field wide enough.

  • @miketalhoffer It sure is. :) Yeah, make sure it´s about 250 meters wide. ;)
