i did the same as your video showing but on my iphone the ultrasnow doesn't come as 1.2.4 but instead it appears as 1.2.5,my phone is locked to vodafone and it is still showing the same no service,i couldn't fix "no sim" ,i think it will work for t mobile,if there is any help plz do tell me...

yea it does work but you have another issue of which you don't understand if you have a legit sim card for your iPhone 4 3gs and 4s it causes the same issue i took one into my local apple store because my friend works there and he ran a apple diagnostic on the iPhone with the jailbreak installed and it reported firmware corruption so don't use the latest jailbreak

It will most probably render your iPhone completely useless and in need of a repair.

these iphones were made during week 34+ of 2011 ....... and contain hardware which is not compatible with 6.15.00 modem software.

Try to install the iPad baseband in order to unlock it will result in failure and risk completely bricking your device..

Easiest and best way to get service for 3GS is run jailbreak option in redsn0w and unclick cydia click install iPad baseband and let it do it's thing

Ok this totally screwed my phone. Did everything untill step 10, i turned my phone off and switched it back on but it doesnt start up anymore. It seems to get stuck in some cycle. When the startup is supposed to finish it just hangs for a few secs and then starts up again, and again and again.... I'm trying to completly reinstall the whole iphone software, didnt figure out how to do so yet.

I have iPhone 3GS with official firmware 5.0.1 and 6.15.00 baseband. I believe I'm stuck..iTunes won't let me recover back to 4.3.3 so that I can jailbreak where I was before. It gives me the 3194 error and redirects me to apple's support page with TS1275. How do I fix this? I tried commenting out the host file and everything else I can think of. Am I stuck?

12/7/11 I just did this after having my 3gs on 5.0.1 with no service for 3 days. Tried 4 other fixes that did not work, called 5 different places in Houston, TX and they all said it could not be done and wanted to downgrade me back to 4.2.1. THEY WERE WRONG!!!! You are the MAN!!!
