  • a vs700 does 6.2seconds to 60... When you lounche the vs1400 well, it should be less than 5seconds.

  • @remroo It probably would have been if it wasn't being ridden by a new rider fresh off a 250 who was alarmed by the nearly obscene amount of go this Intruder has.

  • 6.2 is slow man, it should be doing it in the 4-5 sec range stock, youre not riding it right, my vs 800 is much quicker than 6.2 to 60

  • @donniebrasco24 I don't doubt it. We had just bought this from the original owner who put about 9k on it in 10 years & had left it sitting for the last 2.after building a chopper & had never even bothered to change the break in oil.

Now that it's had the proper maintainance, a bunch of tanks of premium, and some damned good runs to clean it out, it's got more pep.

Up until about a week before this, I had been riding a 250 so I was a bit cautious.

  • @TwistedlyCanadian intruders are one of the fastest v twin cruisers on the road today. ride safe...

  • @donniebrasco24 When we got this bike, my dad and I were both upgrading so we bought this one and a Vstar 1100. He was kind enough to give me the choice after I had time to thoroughly test ride both. I chose the Vstar as this Intruder was a very unwise bike for someone just moving up from a 250. It worked out as he wanted the Intruder anyway.

I did a video with the Vstar that turned out well & is on my channel, but I still get to ride the Intruder from time to time :)
