  • thus is no song, for it is a path. this path illuminates the darkest parts of the ever expanding universe, and ray lynch is the one playing the song. forsooth. he uses no instruments, only imagination bubles, and he pokes them, when they pop he creates a song that is the very essence of the universe. he is a goddess amongst men.

  • I used to listen to this tape on every long car trip I took as a kid. Just incredible.

  • if you closely listen to it, this wonderful piece of music elevates the vibration of thought to altitudes not known before. it inspires creativity and fantasy... it lets you dream of things undreamed before.

very beautiful video by the way, very fitting to the music. great job rashoken.

    best regards from Austria

  • I love this style of music, so peaceful and paints so many images in my mind. I love how it's so simple, too; it's really the same melody, just played with different instruments :) Thanks for posting! By the way, where did you get those shots of the mountains and passing through forests and such?

  • Beautiful images, do you know how they were recorded?

Thank you very much for this beautiful video.

  • It's copied from an indian song? I thought it was copied from the melody of the verses of "Call me", by Blondie.

  • @hembetan i was just about to say that. It does kind of sound like he "borrowed it".Just like George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" which sounds like the Chifons"Hes so Fine"

  • This song is copied from old song in india done by music director "ilayaraja", a famous and excellent music director in India..

  • Were using this song for my pointe class dance this year :]

  • I used to like this a lot, but listening to it now, it just seems cheesy and dated. There is so much electronic music out there that's way better than this.

  • was this song written for EPCOT?

  • it the music from star lab holy cow

  • I love this song so much! It is amazing.

Can someone suggest other similar songs to me?

    Thank you!

    thanks B

    BEAR

  • I used to work for the Laser Show at Stone Mountain Park, and my favorite clip we did involved this song.

  • You know- Humans are part of nature. Even though we seem to "destroy" more than we "create," nature creates from destruction. What humans do might change life from how we know it, but if life didn't change and evolve over time- we wouldn't be here. We didn't kill the dinosaurs, you know- we just used their guts to power our vehicles.. and some day, freaky amphibian overlords might use our guts to power their hovercrafts....

  • My dad would play this tape in the car every time he drove my brothers and I somewhere. It will never stop making think of him and them, or how much I love and miss them.

  • If only all Youtube videos were this beautiful, inspiring, touching, caring, vivid, strong and steady.

Though sometimes I feel like us humans are just a downright scourge to our planet, myself included; this film reminds me that we haven't destroyed the whole world. Yet. Oh, look; I found my "Deep Breakfast" tape. "Celestial Soda Pop". ©1986.

Thanks. Tomorrow will be a better day. =^.^=

  • @alectricfoxx And so will today if we wish to make it so.

and thanks for your kind and sincere words

  • @alectricfoxx

Isn't that the truth! What a great video and a fantastically full, uplifting vacation in just 5 minutes. I, too, was soaring at the end.

    Beautiful video!

  • @alectricfoxx Although I agree that humans do bad things to each other, it doesn't really make sense to say that humans are a scourge to the planet. Without humans, there wouldn't be any sentient beings around to even know the planet existed... so the planet is what we make of it, because the planet itself doesn't care.

  • @alectricfoxx I feel the same way, we have to somehow band together and make everyday a new day and keep it that way not just for us but for our children's children!

  • Who gives this a thumbs down? And there are FOUR OF THEM! Oh, I know. Imbeciles and immature kids who hate the whole world. So sad for them.

  • @PamandJim1000

I'll tell you who...people who have to hear "F" this and "F" that...line after line

  • @dm100971 I listen to "f this and that" kind of music along with this.

  • omg the part where the dolphin and the dog touched noses almost made me cry. that was one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen... sorry im an animal lover lol...

  • I thought this is trance music, not new age. Whatever it is, I fucking love it! if you haven't check out Lynch's "Oh of Pleasure"

  • @salamisumo2 The Art Bell Show introuduced me to that years ago, and in my opinion it's Lynch's best song. All of his music is great though.

  • So pretty! I love the beginning with the dolphins. ^_^

  • great album. I was introduced to him by a former girl friend(made out to it)

  • This album is so great.... You can feel yourself traveling thru the wonders of the world

  • Everytime I hear this song, I think of the Laser Show at Stone Mountain Park, right outside of ATL, GA. Go to it sometime :)

  • ecstatically mind-boggling ! I love Ray Lynch.

  • One of the old school weather channel classics.

  • Ur-Trance...trance from before trance was.

  • Excellent song, one of my faves already :)

Anyone here got names of similar tunes to this?

  • This is Ray Lynch, from the CD "Deep Breakfast." Most of the songs on there are like this one. This song/cd is about 25 yrs old, but still great listening.

  • 25 years old? Sounds like something that could have been released yesterday, it has such a modern feel!

  • All of this guys music is pretty good, but this is my favorite from him. Check out "The Oh Of Pleasure." -another good song from the same cd.

I just checked, the cd was released 1984.

  • Wow, this song sure aged rather well....

I'll check out that other song you mentioned, it's bound to be as good as you said :)

  • It's not so much that it has a modern feel, that everything else has the same feel as Deep Breakfast.

The first run of DB was done in Ray Lynch's apartment. It sold out in record time.

  • This album is an inspiration from Mella Mella - Vazkai and BGM from Pallavi anu pallavi. Both were composed by Ilayaraja in 1983 and this album came in 1984.

  • super camp song ftw i was there!

  • LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTT

  • This world could be so great........

  • When I was on my trip I would always ask my grandma to play this song in the car. :-)

  • this used to play at epcot's wonders of life pavilion at disney world fl

  • nice music

  • <3333 one of the closest songs to nature....

  • what a GREAT song I love it so much.

  • I did a pantomime to this song in my high school drama class. Ever since then, I always find myself humming or singing it. It's a good song.

  • funnn

I know that was a geaky thing to say, but I meant it!

  • Thank you :)

I sent this clip to my two sisters, as they took the class too! They loved it. I love the scene where the dolphin touches the nose of the dog :) andra

  • OMG I love this song! I remember this song from years ago when I took a movements class and this would the cooldown/stretching song. I never knew who wrote it and just on a whim typed the title of the song at youtube. I did not expect somebody to have posted it! What album is this from?

Thanks again :) This made my night. andra

  • It's from the album Deep Breakfast :)

  • No blue thing is a great album..A girlfriend turned me onto Ray Lynch.

  • I love this song, always have. I first listened to it when I lived in AZ and was about 10-12 yrs old. Back then I loved bass, and you mostly found that in rap type songs. I walked into a "nature" shop and they had this playing. Fell in love with it and played it all the time.

Sounds even better when you have the bass turned really high and the valume cranked!!!

  • This has got to be one of the most aptly named songs ever. The music is truly effervescent. I bought this on tape back when CDs were a novelty item, and I still love listening to it.

  • @Tzoram1

So true! I popped that tape in as I drove into the concrete jungle of LA just to help me be able to deal with the suits - back in the day. Something made me think of it the other day.

  • this is a cool one to listen to when your base is turned up really high

  • my mom used to play this song all the time when i was young

  • Stone Mnt. Park has a great laser display of this song.

  • Dude, I was there

  • Yeah man, I live like 20 mins away from stone mountain so i see it quite a bit. Its a bit of an acid trip but its cool =p

  • @Gi21FF1n

Does anyone know if that awesome song has been used in any movie?

    Thanks

  • @jslemaire81 : this song "celestial soda pop" is copied from indian song done by ilayaraja sir, number 1 music director in india.. this is ture..

  • @Gi21FF1n I'm from a Ohio, and it was by chance that I got to witness that. Definitely glad I did, and it reminded me of this song which by chance eventually brought me here. It's kind of a small world like that.

  • @Gi21FF1n Thank you, Stone Mtn, could not figure out where the hell I had heard this and it's been driving me nuts!

  • This song brings me so many memories,my child was born premature lived for 21 months and at the hospital the nurses play this song and all from Lynch to relax her. God Bless you my child.

  • It sounds like Happy Together, somewhat. At parts anyway. ;o

  • I love this song

In fact I love the album that this song is on

  • Great!

  • This song extenuates how wonderful Ray Lynch is and how amazing his work can be. While I strongly believe other songs on the same album are better, I really love this song for its light electronic pop feeling. <3 to Ray Lynch always.
