...my mom used to play this while pregnant with me and my older sis then when we were new borns then toddlers. heard it for the first time in years yesterday (im a teen now) and oh the memories...
Years and years had not heard this evocative theme. Really musicians of that time have something that connects us to a cosmic energy in which we are all part of another .... the images are beautiful. Peace for all
thus is no song, for it is a path. this path illuminates the darkest parts of the ever expanding universe, and ray lynch is the one playing the song. forsooth. he uses no instruments, only imagination bubles, and he pokes them, when they pop he creates a song that is the very essence of the universe. he is a goddess amongst men.
It's not the amount of breaths we take, but the number of moments that take our breath away... like this song does... every time.. without fail... (: the dolphins fit really well with the music.
I grew up listening to this CD over & over again! I'm so glad to find out there are others who listen to this Awesome CD as well. ^_^ Thank you so much for sharing this!!
Doesn't this take you back to your good days. I just remember this song when I was 5, and it just takes me back. When I was 5 it was good. We always listened to stuff like this and The Cars. Just beautiful!
if you closely listen to it, this wonderful piece of music elevates the vibration of thought to altitudes not known before. it inspires creativity and fantasy... it lets you dream of things undreamed before.
very beautiful video by the way, very fitting to the music. great job rashoken.
I love this style of music, so peaceful and paints so many images in my mind. I love how it's so simple, too; it's really the same melody, just played with different instruments :) Thanks for posting! By the way, where did you get those shots of the mountains and passing through forests and such?
@hembetan i was just about to say that. It does kind of sound like he "borrowed it".Just like George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" which sounds like the Chifons"Hes so Fine"
I used to like this a lot, but listening to it now, it just seems cheesy and dated. There is so much electronic music out there that's way better than this.
You know- Humans are part of nature. Even though we seem to "destroy" more than we "create," nature creates from destruction. What humans do might change life from how we know it, but if life didn't change and evolve over time- we wouldn't be here. We didn't kill the dinosaurs, you know- we just used their guts to power our vehicles.. and some day, freaky amphibian overlords might use our guts to power their hovercrafts....
My dad would play this tape in the car every time he drove my brothers and I somewhere. It will never stop making think of him and them, or how much I love and miss them.
@alectricfoxx Although I agree that humans do bad things to each other, it doesn't really make sense to say that humans are a scourge to the planet. Without humans, there wouldn't be any sentient beings around to even know the planet existed... so the planet is what we make of it, because the planet itself doesn't care.
@alectricfoxx I feel the same way, we have to somehow band together and make everyday a new day and keep it that way not just for us but for our children's children!
omg the part where the dolphin and the dog touched noses almost made me cry. that was one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen... sorry im an animal lover lol...

This is Ray Lynch, from the CD "Deep Breakfast." Most of the songs on there are like this one. This song/cd is about 25 yrs old, but still great listening.
This album is an inspiration from Mella Mella - Vazkai and BGM from Pallavi anu pallavi. Both were composed by Ilayaraja in 1983 and this album came in 1984.
Ray lynch is great he really is good. For some odd reason whenever im taking a test my teacher puts on a song for us to listen to and i always tell her to put on this one. great song

If only all Youtube videos were this beautiful, inspiring, touching, caring, vivid, strong and steady.
Though sometimes I feel like us humans are just a downright scourge to our planet, myself included; this film reminds me that we haven't destroyed the whole world. Yet. Oh, look; I found my "Deep Breakfast" tape. "Celestial Soda Pop". ©1986.
