1. They're only boycotting it because they felt like the first game wasn't supported.

2. the bocott failed because over 2/3rds of them are playing left4dead2 as we speak. You can look at it on the boycott member list.

3. There's absolutely no other reason people refused to buy it other then the fact they felt the first one wasn't supported.

4. Besides this, the 2nd one is much larger then the first one ever was and already have new Downloadable content comming early next year.

Well, you can thank the guys at Turtle Rock studios for trying to make it seem the most apocalyptic as can be, and you can also thank the guys at valve for screwing that up, after they acquired TRS in Jan. '08. They removed the gun reload animations, the darker night sky in no mercy, the old, and more gritty and better survivor models...It is only partly true that the guys from TRS were still the making decisions for the game, the Valve guys had way more input for what they wanted after that.
