  • sexy

  • hi

  • Joshua Graham's favorite sidearm.

  • 1911 is the sexiest oldtimer ever, agreed?

  • @Dragonite33 Naw - The c96 broomhandle.

  • @7hart2 i say, 1911 still my favourite but the c96 looks beast too xP

  • This comes in every Russian happy meal

  • @dor780 youre thinking of the tokarev or an AKS74u

  • how much would something like this cost?

  • that gun always jolts my hands.

  • I would get rid of the thumb safety lever and carry it with one in the chamber like one would with an XD.

  • I LOVE this pistol but finding its harder to find especially for a price under 1K or even higher.

  • This is one of the coolest firearms ive seen the last days!

  • @490Dodesheide

It looks really compact and easy to handle :)) Im talking like I know how to handle a gun lol.

  • so its very similar to a glock action? Not full double action but no means to recock it without cycling?

  • what would a weapen like this cast?

  • As far as I know the hammer and the trigger of the LDA guns functions like a revolver? I wonder how stiff is the trigger pull of LDA's?

  • @laobunlee VERY light. Much lighter than any revolver I've ever shot. It does stage at the top of the throw, then a crisp break.

  • I have the PARA Carry LDA. Same gun as the vid but better looking. Works great after the 200-300 round break in. BAD part is very little accessories and hardware. I had to modify grips and use a Kimber holster. And yes it does shoot low as everyone says (even from bench rest)

  • i want one!!!!!!!!

  • wow, very cool!

I wonder how easy it is to shoot rapid fire, with the small grip.

  • yes...... yes it is..... its wat they issued GI's in WW2

  • ot just G.I.s but marines, airforce, navy, etc

  • @Guyya93 I'm sorry

They didn't issue small pistols like this to G.I infantry

They got issued a full sized colt m1911

    Go learn your facts.

  • one designed after (or like) the Colt 1911

as they said.. out service pistol for almost 100 years

  • @GunWebsites I may have interpreted your comment wrong but did mean "Colt 1911" as an example or that it was the first 1911? The first 1911 was made by John Browning. I'm sure you know this but I just don't understand your comment.

  • @TEEJAY9920

I have no idea that was 11 months ago

  • @TEEJAY9920 Browning worked for Colt at the time, so it was property of Colt and licensed as such. Colt still makes 1911 pistols, just not the M1911 itself.

  • @rohan9621 This post received negative feedback? Who's born with encyclopedic gun knowledge? As gun owners we owe it to each other to educate people as much as possible about guns. The anti gun community is full of people who don't understand (and by rote, fear) guns. Waste a perfectly good chance to turn a potential anti gun'er into a potential gun owner? Really? Self proclaimed elitist push away newcomers with gun-snobbery and then bitch about 2nd amendment opposition.

  • @lithjimmy lol. Yeah. Guns don't kill people, people do. Guns are like, tools. Use them safely and properly and you'll be fine. If someone wanted to kill ya, they will regardless if they have a gun or not. A pair of scissors for example would do the trick of killing someone. But it ain't the scissors thats your problem, it's the person killing people. Be afraid of people, not guns. Anyone can fire guns and own one, givin the proper safety measures.

  • @rohan9621 It is. The 1911 is a classic and a favorite of many. Like guyya said, they issued it to GI's in WW 2, but like it's namesake, it was developed by Colt in 1911. There was a 1910 model/prototype too, but it was the 1911 that really took. Many companies make different versions; some smaller or thinner. The commander/officer 1911 is compact with a shorter barrel. The 1911 was originally made to fire 45 caliber bullets, but now you can get them chambered for many calibers. Look into it.

  • does anyone know if this gun could be modified to use 460 rowland?

  • @maltieskitten Anything is possible but I would say it would be very difficult . If I'm not mistaken they don't recommend converting anything smaller than commander sized slide to 460 because the slide wouldn't have enough mass so if it did work it would beat the gun to death. It would be cool though.

  • I just recently got a Warthog and am very impressed wit hthe Para Ordnance pistols so far.

  • @GlockAnimal SO THE WARTHOG IT FEEDS ALL KINDS OF AMMO AND IS RELIABLE?

IT'S NICE AND COMPACT AND HAS 10+1 CAPABILITY.
