It's still visceral and creepy after all these years. I watched this film with my mother in the mid 1980s. She's great! She used to rent for me all the R rated films before I was old enough to do so.

Still intense music after all these years, hee hee. Tobe Hooper will just never be able to top this one I guess. I did like Part 2 even though its more of a sick comedy. And I remember well the 03 remake trailer used the screech over and over, best part of it. Great vid, thanks for posting!

Raw, primal, the sounds perfectly convey in the film complimenting each other and... the eerie screech of a camera shutter like no other it can only be this film! Awesome job Honey ;-) *kIsSeS Wifey* I Love you! PS) saw 6 totally tried to nick the shutter sound in one of their trailers lol - there can be only one!
