Sad to say that Americans have lost the ability to walk... most towns in fact have no sidewalks and even if there is a restaurant only a few blocks away, you literally have to drive as the alternative is to walk on a dangerous road with cars or in the grassy ditches made for water runoff. No bike paths or walking paths outside of parks or certain parts of big cities.
i think germany is much better than america ;D
