Gotta love the intensity of this performance. The crowd goes crazy at the end and Maynard is actually rocking out .. Tho I assume hes just pissed about playing at a venue like that. But you never really see Maynard jam out like that and thats cool.

@Ilikefoodaton I read an interview with Adam and he said that they didn't find out about the Scientology aspect of the venue until they were about to hit the stage. He said that they briefly considered canceling the performance right then.

R, Every Time I see this I remember how hard it was on focusing my attention on just filming. Was the longest I every sat still while a band was playing. I'm working on the Club w/no Name tape. The camera ate the tape and I have to splice it back together. Just glad we made more than one tape of this show. B

When I have some time I'll post some more..was waiting for some good response before going on...I have an even earlier Tool gig (somewhere in the attic)from August 91..they opened for my friends band Too Free Stooges at the Club with no Name in LA..that was the first time I saw them..never heard them before..but quickly knew I had to fire up the camera..I'll give ya a shout when I get around to posting any others..Cheers!
