well, dunno what the main differences are between the studio and the regular. But I like the playing, very smooth neck, only the finish is a bit off, but that could be because mine's lefthanded, don't know.
Whats wrong with the finish? And one more question, how dark is the color? Cuz Ive seen pictures were it looks like a bright red color and other pics were it looks like a nice sexy dark red. Like yours.
in some small corners you can see they used a little too much paint. My stuck bridgehumbucker was not well placed. minor details actually.
yeah about the colour, I asked myself the same question before i bought it. I can assure you it's dark cherry red. In some pictures there's just too much lighting which makes it look a lot more bright than it actually is :)
Alright man, thanx!!!! You actually helped me make the decision. I already ordered and payed for mine!!!!........Now I have to wait lol!!!! Dp you recommend the '59 p-up? I'm thinking of getting the GIbson '57 Classic instead.
yeah it's a great pickup. a little more edge to it than the original one. And seymour duncan is not that expansive so. ofcourse the gibson sounds amazing i think, but the price on that is like the double of the seymour duncan:) last month i replaced the knobs with black gibsons and took down the epiphone "E" so i'm happy with the looks now.
gonna add you to my friends so i'll be updated when you get the dot :)
Alrite man, thanx for all the help, I'll post a video when I get her. According to UPS its supposed to get here tommorrow but its currently snowing so I doubt its gonna get here on time.
what are you using for your distortion?

You should replace the pickups. Those sound way too abrasive. Way to bright. But good cover anyway!

thanks:)
the thing is, the bridge pickup has already been replaced by a seymour duncan '59, I just have shitty settings on a shitty amp.
