The thing about the FOX Network frightening ALF sounds like a joke on the Simpsons. I especially liked the joke about the Starship: Enterprise being an icon for millions of people with no lives.:-)
@thatamazinggeek No I pity you and you parents. You clearly have no sense of taste, then again with the brain the size of a pea. It must be hard of you to understand what I am saying. So I will say this real slow.
Go....back....to....pre...school!
Oh and change your name it degraces us Geeks that morons like you use the term so as to make themselves look smart! You cannot say anything without using at least 1 profanity and you're not saying anything profound with it, so stay out kid!

"I coould even one day become President of the United States."--how interesting that he would play the president only a few short years after this was made.
the woman playing Dr. Carnage is the one who played the neighbord in the 2-part episode where they were trying to protect the neighbordhood from burglary, right?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the guy at 5:07 - 5:55 from an episode of Family Matters? He played "Bull" if one of the earlier seasons of the show where he who take Urkle's money and in the end Eddie fought him. Sounds like his voice.
it's the first time I watch this movie in english language and there is something interesting. in the german version Alf doesn't say "this one is definately the pepsi" (1:35) but "this one is definately not the freshly pressed orange juice"...kind of curious xD
0:40 - 0:45 and 1:26 - 1:35 Alf, I'm saying this as a fan and a friend! Please do not throw up on camera or else the ratings will go down, children will have nightmares, and you'll probably have to spend the rest of your life being the spokesperson for Tastee-Freeze!
I like when they kept putting ALF on the centerfuge. lol. Looks like so much fun but it would probably make me sick. I have never seen this before--it's pretty good. Why did they have to relocate the Tanners to ICELAND? Why not somewhere like a different state?
It's a sitcom tradition. When an actor leaves a show, his or her character goes to a remote location so that the audience doesn't ask why they don't come back for a visit.
alf doesn't have human rights he aint human but thats not to say he doesn't have right they just can't be classed as human but should be leveled the same as any other inteligent creature
the commentary on the DVD, there was supposed to be a scene where a helicopter drops off a crate in Iceland, and Willie Tanner runs out of the igloo that he and
his family are living in to collect their monthly rations, located within the crate. However, Tom Patchett and Paul Fusco felt that this was ALF taking centerstage this time around, and thus we only hear about what happened to the Tanners.
From what I heard, the cast had a very difficult time doing Alf because it was a lot of work with the puppetry on the character. I'm sure the creators felt the odds were they would all turn the movie down. They've all said as much that they were relieved when the show was cancelled because they were so exhausted from it.
Don't ask don't tell is about someone admiting their sexuality if they are homosexual or not. and I think what he means by it, is she still has a job. I think he was calling her a lesbain. and she said stop the tape maybe because it struck a nerve
Does anyone recognise captain mulligan? I'm sure he was a family member, maybe brother of willie's from the original series?

lisababy85, allow me to return the favor
by answering your question. According to
the commentary on the DVD, there was supposed to be a scene where a helicopter drops off a crate in Iceland, and Willie Tanner runs out of the igloo that he and
his family are living in to collect their monthly rations, located within the crate. However, Tom Patchett and Paul Fusco felt that this was ALF taking centerstage this time around, and thus we only hear about what happened to the Tanners.

oh okay, I understand now. Thank you!! It is still sad though. How are you today?

they felt this was ALF taking center stage. So wait, nobody was even asked to be in this movie? That's just wrong if thats the case.
