this was the first version of the song i ever heard. i had it on demand and i listened to it every morning before i went to school until i learned all the lyrics. before the cd even came out. i remember how excited i was when i first heard it. i cried. i cried when i heard it live too. this song really hits me where i live. my grandmother has beat cancer 3 times and this is her 4th.

Definitely one of their best performances.

This song really touches me - both my grandmothers have suffered from cancer and one died from it. Also one of my really close friends died from it.

Hearing the pure emotion in his voice is really heart-breaking. This is one of the reasons I love My Chem, Gee really means what he's singing about.

Gerard has been quoted saying, I think 'emo' is fucking garbage, it's bullshit. I think there's bands that unfortunately get lumped in with that are considered 'emo' and by default that starts to make us 'emo'. and, "I think 'emo' is a pile of shit.

Not that there's anything wrong with "emo" people, I'm just making the point that My Chem. isn't.

I love this song...it really shows how much the band cares about people and how they want to changes this world for the better. Many people listen to their songs and they think they are some emo band that hates their lives but they are saving people lives and making this world relise that talking about Cancer and other stuff that you just can't forget it there.

I hate it when people call them Emo. Every band can be considered Emo because a lot of songs are very emotional. This is just my opinion here, but a lot of rock songs have much more meaning than any rap or hip-hop song. Cancer is a great example actually. And like rockerchic said, MCR just wants to make a difference and they're not some egotistical band. They're genuine.
