actually cougars, coyotes, wolves and sometimes lynxes prey on pronghorn. So they have someone to run from.

@cricricricricricri In the documentary I saw, only 10% of the time those animals catch a pronghorn, by getting one that is injured or a baby pronghorn or just sheer luck. Truth is, their endurance is outstanding. those other animals are gassed after 50 seconds or so. Pronghorn can run at their top speeds for over an hour before slowing down.

Somebody should start a petition to introduce Cheetahs to the United States to make even faster Pronghorn, and then the Cheetah will get faster as well. Then we might see a Cheetah doing 120 mph while chasing a Pronghorn across Montana one day. I'd pay to see that.

if you honestly believe that thats just plain wierd. Why not go to africa and see it in their natural habitat. And by introducing cheetah to the united states you would then decrease the population of pronghorn. Just use genetics to breed with only faster species of animals if you want to do that. And go to africa, just lazy to want them to take them to America.
