I remember watching this series when it was first on!Only they had many,many problems keeping it on the air & their were several times when the air date would suddenly change because of an upcoming football game.Only I remember really enjoying this series when it was on the air.

And to answer your question about The Flash movie, that is confirmed. The same scriptwriters for Green Lantern are writing the script treatment for the film. And it's supposed to be dark and gritty, and it will be Barry Allen so yes, he will be a CSI.

@ashez2ashes Why's that, because Green Lantern did poorly in the box office? If you did the research you'd know that what was shown in theaters was NOT the full movie. Execs at WB felt that if they cut it up the way they did, then it would appeal more to the female crowd as well as the male and fanboy crowd. An Extended cut, which is what Martin Campbell originally intended to be shown in theaters, will be released on Blu-Ray October 14th. I enjoyed GL, but I agree it should have been better.

@ashez2ashes Either way, it all depends on how well the script is, if anything they will hire someone to do a re-write. Also, Barry Allen is a great choice for The Flash for a movie based off that character. Dark and gritty fits the CSI world real well, as it should.

I've loved this show since I was a kid. John Wesley Shipp will always be my Flash. I got the DVD Collection several months ago and I'm hooked again. So much fun. Of all the great show's of yesteryear that deserved a one more season. Great Review and great T-Shirt.

I bought this while drunk, vacationing in France. :-P Best drunken decision I ever made! This is a really fun show, a mix of slick film noir and 90s camp. It was pretty obvious that they were trying to cash in on the success of the Tim Burton Batman movie by making it so dark, but that didn't take away from it. John Wesley Shipp was excellent in the role and it was a real pity that it didn't carry on into a 2nd season.

Yeah , One reason was because the Gulf War coverage really destroyed a lotta new shows. And Flash was one of'em.

You probally already know this , but another reason is this show was a bear too make. It was just very expensive at the time. All the Effects surrounding Flash , The Suit , many of his villians , all the backlot and stylish production and classic vehicles they had to bring in. Just was very expensive on a early 90's budget. In fact it probally would'nt be too cheap today either. But I would have loved for it too of had one more season too give us some fun.

But the episodes available on the VHS aren't available on the DVD one !
