The book contains the original tale while the movie is just a sped up chopped up version of it while the game seems like a totally altered version of it. The real story is in the books. The only thing that happens, which is in volume 4, is that kim and knives got drunk and made out in the upstairs bedroom of julia's aunts house. But after that, nothing else happened between them.
