I was able to use one of the VS that was at the start to get past. the only thing is the wormtries to destroy the VS, so you have to get in and drive after the worm comes out, and then jump back out when it submerges.

the worm dosnt die it just regenerates. once the music has stoped and he disapears move on and complete the mission, the achievment will pop up at the end

that number below the green bar is your thermal energy count (TE) Its what keeps you alive. The higher it is, the longer you last. It also keeps your green meter full. When you run out of TE, your green bar starts going down. To keep your TE from going empty, you need to collect the orange pools, which are pools of TE. You die only when the green bar is totaly empty. You can also die with TE if your hit hard enought to empty your green bar.

No, there is only one worm, cause I find it fun to fight that thing just to kill time. A little while after you beat it another pops up and that'll happen every time you kill it. So it's kind of pointless killing it unless you find it fun, like me. :-}

I must correct your assumption, respectively, of course. There's actually more than one worm. I'm not sure exactly how many, but I've fought two at once before. It is possible to kill one, and you'll even get an achievement for doing so. What you witnessed was probably the death of one worm followed by the emerging of another.

After you kill the worm, you have to complete th whole mission. I did the same thing with the moth. I killed it like 6 times nd figured out you have to beat the whole mission then you get the achievment

this is a fun game to get. the gameplay cutscenes only have a few cussing lines. only ones i can remember are

as for blood don't worry about that at all. most of time your fighting akrid which bleed orange goo. whenever you fight humans, there's no blood that i can see.

no its just the two halves of him. his head and his lower half...also he cant ever die, wen u shoot all those energy cores, it just makes him flee and return a couple minutes later with more cores.
