  • england is great britain, scotland is great britain, wales is great britain, northern ireland is great britain. republic of ireland is not, so next time you search some famous irish guy on wikipedia that's made his big break into hollywood or shitty american channel news, remember: he's not british, he's irish

  • i can't believe katy perry was married to him :/ he's very odd.

  • i like how like how Craig ferguson says "WE invented cool" ahah he's so American now

  • Comment removed

  • Shitty interview. So forced and contrived.

  • @awreckingball horrible init

  • what in the name of bloody hell is wrong with his friggin hair?

  • @cantbackdown123 he's suffers from dickhead syndrome.

  • We can carbonate it!!! Hahahaha! This is brilliant! I love how bonkers Russell is when he gets excited. xx

  • @QuirkyGirl12345 ooh aren't you both 'quirky' or rather talk a load of bullshit.

  • "oh the manufacture of consent"

think he gave you all a clue there

    :)

  • It's funny because even within countries, states and counties accents are often particular to certain localities. It isn't strictly true to say that there's a Scottish accent or a Northern Irish accent but we still use these blanket statements because they're useful. I'd have to say, however, that 'British' is just too much of a blanket term; it covers far too many accents and is almost meaningless. The same can be said for 'American' accent-- though I think most people are guilty of this usage.

  • hahaha wow I was almost turning my laptop down when this started and I kept watching! one word ENTERTAINING AND TALENTED!!! that's three words, lol but whatever

  • Fucking Mickey Noya man!

  • They sound like 2 Meth Addicts trying to come up with ideas to take over the world....... And I Fucking Love it!

  • he reminds me of Sophia Grace

  • @number1glgfan Same here. And I think parts of his face (like the mouth) look like Sophia Grace. O.o

  • Half an hour later they began drafting up their effervescent weewee but ended up shagging.

  • Such character. Two hilarious men!

  • Oh gawd, he cracks me up XDD Why have I never even heard of him before? ...Aside from the fact that he has not been exported to Denmark (as of yet, surely that must be changed)

  • I can not believe people are arguing about what's British and what isn't on this video. Don't you people have better things to do that try so vehemently to be right all the time?

  • Can't believe this guy has fucked Katy Perry. Lucky bastard.

  • @HGS1991 Repeatedly, don't forget how many times - and ways he's fucked Katy Perry, i really don't think you're giving him enough credit

  • Hes just not funny. and I dont like his stupid teeth

  • Poor Americans. Russell is a genius!

  • Lol it's so easy to tell an American apart from us "British" because we very rarely refer to ourselves as British. If you're Scottish you say I'm Scottish and so on. They don't have a clue about what Britain actually is, Britain is not just another word for England it also covers Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It cracks me up when they say I can do a British accent. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BRITISH ACCENT! It's exactly the same as saying I can do a European accent.

  • @JamieAndroidFan Not all Americans think this way just as i would think not all insert any one from any country think this way. Spread wisdom instead of ignorance, people.

  • @JamieAndroidFan We get so tired of explaining this that it just gets accepted. If they are never corrected and their entire country is terrible with outside America geography it isn't their fault.

  • @JamieAndroidFan So by saying this you are also saying there is no such thing as an "American" accent? I've seen a lot of British (I'm sorry, Scottish, English, Irish, and Welsh) people say "I can do an American accent." Don't act like Americans are the only people who hold stereotypes.

  • @TheLegendaryLoboSolo Yeah exactly!

  • @TheLegendaryLoboSolo The moral of this story, kids, is that most people are ignorant.

  • @CodedRhythmTalk It's sad, but it's the truth.

  • @JamieAndroidFan i thought it would be more equivalent to saying "american accent"

  • @JamieAndroidFan

lol No, see, here's the thing: we're really not as dumb as the rest of the world seems to assume we are, we've just gotten very lazy! Rather than taking the time and effort to learn the difference between Manchester, Yorkshire, etc., etc., we just cover all the bases and say, "British." We're even too lazy to get our OWN nation's accents right. "Texan"? "Virginian"? "Floridian"? NOPE! "Southern";)

  • @yobhsiFehT See you fucktard, It's not " Manchester, Yorkshire" or "Texan,Floridian"..

Scottland or Wales is a different country . tsk tsk, You just proved his point of Americans being dumb.. sad sad

  • @WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWVWW

WHAAAT?!? Scotland and Wales are different countries!?! I HAD NO IDEA! =o I had no intention WHATSOEVER of illustrating my point using regional accents as opposed to national accents! Golly, how ignorant and sheepish I feel right now! I, like the country from which I hail, should just back off and never participate on a global stage again b/c, as we all know, America and Americans clearly have nothing to offer and never have.

  • @yobhsiFehT kind of true, but let's be honest, when you say "British" you really mean "upper class English." would you really say a Scotsman had a British accent?

  • @MadOldPete

Personally, if I say "British accent," I'm almost certainly referring to English, maybe Welsh (b/c they sound pretty similar to American ears), and maybe some softer Scottish accents. But for me, in general, Britain = UK. Historically, since England has had this thing about assuming land is theirs that isn't [so, THAT's where we get it from:S:P], the blurring of some distinctions between countries really shouldn't be all that shocking.

    Er, I mean, "Like, what???"

  • @JamieAndroidFan

Oh, and by "American," did you mean North, Central, or South? You may have just offended a Nicaraguan w/ your careless and insensitive generalities, you never know;)

  • @JamieAndroidFan I couldn't agree more!

  • @JamieAndroidFan actually northern ireland is not in Great Britain mate its in the UK (no thats not the same) but apart from that you are very correct... americans are very stuid in that sense

  • @GolfTutorials Wow you're right! I never actually knew that. I suppose you could catch a lot of people out with that fact :) Thanks man

  • @JamieAndroidFan so....English accent then?

  • @irhjma30000 There's no such thing. There are various accents throughout Englland, but there is no 'one' English accent.

  • @SunStridar Yes but even someone who is not familiar with more colloquial accents can tell the difference between an English and, say Scottish accent. It is a bit much to expect anyone to recognise anything beyond that.

  • @Messoppolis no no but an english accent is anything. in england we have plenty of different accents, scouse accents, brummy accents, yorkshire accents, geordie accents, cockney accents, posh accents, common accents, chavvy accents, mancunian accents such as myself. i know a few people from ireland that don't even have that strong of an accent and you can't tell, and republic of ireland isn't even in britain.

  • @JamieAndroidFan This is purely ignorant. When was the last time you were in America? By the way, there are about 10 different accents here, if not more. We're aware of what Bristish means, thanks. I think you're reading far to much into the comments made by children on Youtube. And An English accent- is technically one type of 'British accent' so instead of 'cracking up' like a crazy, perhaps you should ask those that claim to be able to do a British accent, politely, to specify- 'which one?'

  • his hair?

  • What the fuck was he on?

  • His marriage didn't last long.

  • I don't think I understood a damn thing that was said here.

  • I dont get it. Are his fans little girls who think he looks like jack sparrow? because if a fat 40 year old used his material no one would laugh or give him a seconds notice. He just isnt funny, it's quite embarrising.

  • if your countrys talented people come to america.. well that says a lil something thats pretty obvious

  • A British guy and a Scottish guy.....The Americans must not have known what hit them!

  • @videoguru447 ENGLISH. ENGLISH. England and Scotland are both "British", so you should either say "An English guy and a Scotsman" or "Two British guys". >_>

  • @senseiponzor Okay, okay, sorry!

  • @videoguru447 ENGLISH guy. He's from ENGLAND so he is ENGLISH. BRITISH encompasses England, Wales, Scotland and North Ireland so the Scottish guy is British too. If you're gonna separate them out then it's English guy and Scottish guy cos they're both BRITISH

  • @berskerben Okay, sorry!

  • oooouuuch my teeth hurt

  • they work well together!!! loved this! lol weewee

  • Hey guys, there's a dislike botton just bellow the video. Click on it to make your thought count. What an idiot and what a waste of my time!

  • Brand claims that he used to have a hard drug problem, he likes to allude to it CONSTANTLY! Not that he thinks it makes him seem edgy and cool or anything.

The fact that Katy Perry married him proves beyond doubt that women do not value a sense of humour in a man.

  • i just wanted to know why craig tears up that sheet of paper before/during each interview

  • Britain and America the greatest countries in the world. Enough said.

  • @cgill3254 haha britain would be a great country if britain was a country!

  • @jamiegregg90 Okay sorry. The United Kingdom has four great countries, England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Island. Just like America is made up of different states. Do you want me to list all of them as well? fkin douch bag

  • @cgill3254 nah mate dont list them, dont really care about america. just when u make a stupid comment like britain is a country, u have to expect some flack. tbf, england is a great country, wales, scotland and northern ireland, not island, are just nothing countrys where nothing much happens. there claim to fame is that they are next to england!

  • @cgill3254 no, he's right. britain is not a country. i assume you're referring to england, and don't resort to swearing when your ignorance is exposed.

  • @UltimateVenom fuck off, you fucking cunt. Nob fuck. Dick. Ass hole jajajajajjajajajajaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @UltimateVenom The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a Sovereign State.

Each of its four countries is known as a Constituent Country, namely England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Despite this, the UK is treated internationally as a functioning country on official terms. By this I mean that the UK is represented at the UN, GB represented at Olympic games etc. as opposed to the individual countries (England, Wales etc.) being represented individually. I am English

  • @UltimateVenom Look at you. You're trying to be smart. Thinking you know something that you don't. Britain can be referred to as a country just like Denmark can be referred to as a country. Go away and do your research before making ignorant comments. Besides I wasn't even talking about that. I merely said Britain and American were great NATIONS. fuck wits like you have to jump on their high horse and send a message to some random stranger on the internet to justify their pathetic existence

  • man i know people will go nuts on me, but i can't stand this guy. just clicked because its over 2 million views.

  • @Evaquiel Personally, I appreciate your honesty.

  • @Evaquiel He is an idiot and his body language says it all without opening his mouth.

  • Russell Brand has drug problems, doesn't he?

  • @FraterSoddi Not for 8 years now.

  • @FraterSoddi He used to be a heroin addict. He has been clean for years now.

  • press 9 to hear craig say my wee wee

  • Ah Essex

  • i miss this russell, i dont really like the tamed american one.. kind of lost his humour

  • Yanks even laughat his accent

  • He really let me think of jack sparrow

  • What a character!

  • he's lovely :)

  • What an annoying girly-man this Russell Brand is.

  • He is a nutter haha

  • found both of them well annoying way too intense

  • Yea his movies are all flops except for one, and whats up with the crows nest hair (both on his head and his chest) Is that part of his shtick? BOO!

  • Coca-Cola was invented by John Pemberton in April of 1865 in Georgia. I'm not quite sure where these fellows are getting their facts.

  • @TheLegendaryLoboSolo Georgias a state in america?

  • @TheLegendaryLoboSolo Also, what facts are you on about? It was invented in the US, and that's what they said? hahawhat

  • @CodedRhythmTalk haha yeah, i was under the impression that this was a british talk show. I realized soon after posting the comment that it was not. I was sort of hoping nobody would notice that.

Whatever though, I'll admit my mistake. I will stand by my comment about the accents though.

  • So uhhh...where can I buy this..."carbonated wee wee"...money is no object

  • 'it confounded predjudice, you know you say you might have a predjuice.......one got confounded!' hahahahahahaha

  • Hillbillies love Chomsky lol

  • You guys are incredibly rude. This mans talent knows no bounds. There is a reason he is there and you are sitting here making hateful comments to people from your computer. He moves around a lot because he has ADHD. So fucking what, it makes him more interesting and he has a lot to say. So few have as colorful and unique a personality as he does.

  • The worst thing is....someone would buy it.

  • ALSO IN 2:41

  • one of them is farting on 1:22 !!!!!!! LOL

  • has he got ants in his pants...the man cnt sit still....tho he is an idiot...I respect the knoob for shagging queit a few hot pussies....including Katy Perry.

  • Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky and Ed Herman is not a conspiracy it's an institutional analysis of the media which this idiotic show validates.

  • Omg Russell Brand is sooo on coke during this interview! haha

  • Glad he has gone to america now they can keep him along with piers morgan

  • @englishforeverr Stop sending us your weakshit celebrities and we'll stop sending you fat ignorant tourists, deal?

  • america has no accent! were a melting pot!

  • This guy has no room to make fun of how people look.....anyone have a mirror?

  • @meronmotors He looks gorgeous doesn't he? :)!

  • Russel brand stinks, hes more a phoney, scripted glamor icon than a comedian.

  • @Sicko28911 then why click on the video?

  • @mozzajunior I wanted to watch his goofy hair and phony act, silly goose.

  • @Sicko28911 Well then you seem like a bit of a timewaster, my friend. ;)

  • @mozzajunior No just curious, so you can jump off my dick now my friend ;)

  • @Sicko28911 Didn't realise you had one, my bad. :)

  • @mozzajunior Yes good one junior! Keep stroking your mashed up clit to this hack and take your phoney passive aggressive, cunty attitude and punch it back into your filthy hole girlie.

  • @Sicko28911 Lol! You mad or something bro? Jeez, calm down and learn to take a joke for pete's sake. It's like talking to a 5 year old.

  • @mozzajunior Thats funny because i was joking too! The difference is, your ongoing "joke" is flat and just plain unfunny with your 3 word sentences. Now do i have to surgically have to remove you from my cock or what?

Go chug on a bleeding dick with AIDS and just tap out, ya stink and little girls should have NO place telling jokes ;) Btw you look nasty girl, nice pic lol.

  • @Sicko28911 Your turn!

  • @Sicko28911 Well considering youtube only allow pics to be about 2 centimetres wide, you must have amazing eyesight because I can barely make out my own face in that tiny photo. I'm not a little girl, please stop making yourself look so dumb. Also, 3 word sentences? Take another look you idiot. And you have no other way of "insulting" me so you try to bring my looks into it, when you don't even KNOW what I look like. I'm such you're an ugly fucker, hiding behind your computer screen.

  • Comment removed

  • @Sicko28911 Lol, well done for deleting your comment, coward. At least I HAVE a photo, unlike you hiding behind your cartoon picture. And I know right? maybe when you grow up you'll stop acting like such a toddler! You only started acting like a little hurt bitch when I made a little joke about your dick, did it offend you? Aww.

  • @mozzajunior I can tell i hurt ya, and i dont like messing with kids with "fragile minds". Silly little girl.

  • @mozzajunior Btw that comment....is below you scroll down....genius lol.

  • @Sicko28911 No it was removed and then the other one was flagged as spam because someone else obviously thought you were annoying too. And don't worry sweetie, you haven't hurt me, you were quite amusing at first, but now you're kinda boring me.

  • @mozzajunior Stop trolling you fugly anorexic, im done having fun with ya. I stop reading your dumb comments after the first sentence anyway, you stink.

  • @Sicko28911 Trying to insult anorexics now? You truly are stupid. Now fuck off, kay thanks.

  • you mean Bwitwish pwuewdjustizy-whizzy, buy my booky wook! Idiot.

  • Well they certainly don't appear any more sane than Americans.

  • wtf, if this wasn't live I'd call it comic genius :S I guess this is just "Russell Brandness"

  • I LOVE RUSSEL BRAND!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm amazed at the intolerance I see here. What in this video could bring out all of this hatred?

I watch Craig each night--and I think he's the best at what he does. The man is brilliantly funny, creative, with a lightning quick wit. Don't just go by this clip.

Also, he's not faking an American accent. His Scottish accent has softened after 20 years here. He's a Scottish-American now--but clearly proud to be from Scotland. Scotland should be proud of him. We're happy to have him.

  • russel brand is scary ... 0_0

  • i hate the intervieweer hes so fake

  • These guys are fucking crazy. HILARIOUS.

  • russul has the same hair of amy winehouse xD

  • Fuck you guys, I think they're *both* HILARIOUS. They're both very clever, articulate, have an excellent vocabulary, and, yes, at times are quite raunchy and crude, (especially Brand) but they each have a quick and sharp wit and great charisma. They are amazing entertainers--which, at the end of the day, IS their job--and I, for one, greatly appreciate their talents, whether or not they've got their carbonated-drink trivia right.

  • Smithers I want that man killed

  • Why do people think he's funny?

  • @laughingmyturbanoff1

I guess it's down to personal taste, I don't find him funny either.

  • @laughingmyturbanoff1 He's funnier now. He's just got one of those minds that 10 steps ahead of everyone else and you have no one idea what he's gonna say or gonna do. It fascinating, not to mention hilarious to watch. Watch him on Ellen. Its brilliant.

  • i don't think he is high...not at all!

  • We can carbonate it Craig.

    hahahahahahahaha

  • Russell Brand has got to be the real father of Sophia Grace!

  • @Walangibangpangalan They're from the same part of Essex.

  • cocaine

  • @TheSSPeacelove Hey :) calm down, deary

  • what is brand on in this show?

  • @fjkdfrefneklrj Probably just high on life. He's been clean from drink and drunks for around 7 years.

  • hahahhahahah fuck he's awesome

  • why oh why can't someone put Russel Brand down and let the world forget his life ever existed. Please. for the benefit of mankind.

  • @oldgranny007 Extreme hostility which is entirely uncalled for. You people are so spoiled when it comes to celebrities, entertainers, musicians, actors, all of them. You act as if they have to cater to your needs for entertainment, your specifically, and that if you don't like them, they should either die or quit. Your opinions are not fact, sir. Judging by your name, though, you seem to be the confrontational sort that doesn't like to listen to others. Oh well.

  • @Draccaj who do you mean by 'you'? and mate its just a username :P and of course my opinions aren't fact - they're opinions!

  • just like an idiot liberal talking about prejudice, foreign culture, political policy, but then get distracted by the fizz and color of coco cola. Ohhhh Obama....sparkly....me want!

  • Here's some knowledge for you. Scotland is the only country in the world were coca cola is not the top selling drink. It's Irn-Bru here. Fuckin delicious haha

  • "Normal" english is kind of rare to find over here now because of how accents from all over the UK have evolved and the accent you Americans love isn't even heard by us anymore:')

  • why is it that any english person goes over they have to have the most obscure british accent and not just normal english

    MIchael Cane

    Russel Brand

    Cheryl Cole

    The Queen

    Jason Statham

    Vinny Jones

    Ricky Gervais

Probably loads more thumbs if you agree

  • @12da22da3 I don't know all of the people on that list, but Ricky Gervais sounds pretty standard to me.

  • @12da22da3

there isn't a standard british accent, just like there isnt a standard american accent or standard accent for any other language in the world

  • @12da22da3

Due to the fact that people have accents... how dull can one person be

  • @12da22da3 there are dialects. just like there are dialects ALL over the world.

    no one speaks the same.

  • @12da22da3 wtf is a 'normal english' accent? :L

  • @chchchchchcharlotte everywhere in the UK upper class and middle class people have the same standard english accent. its only the poor people who have regional accents

  • @FadeToBlack888 No it's not. I'm minted and i've got a regional accent. An accent is purely that - Regional. It's got no basis on wealth at all. If you want an example of that, check out East London lad Lord Alan Sugar. He's got a lower class london accent but he could buy and sell most of us born.

  • @ickleoli but he was born working class. im just at a top university and its quite amazing/depressing how all the geordies, welsh, mancs, edinburghs and west country people all sound the same - middle class typical english accent.

  • @FadeToBlack888 That's not true, you can be middle class or lower middle class and have an accent, after all class can be dictated by profession and income not were you're born.

  • @12da22da3 How can you call the Cockney accent obscure?

  • Alliteration-We can carbonate it Craig.
